Thank you to everyone for your kindness and for making us feel so welcome.

We had a wonderful family stay at this hotel and happily give it five stars for service and cleanliness. Everything was perfect – the location is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. As a family, we felt very comfortable and truly enjoyed our time there. The only small thing we noticed was that both the reception and the common area close at 8 pm. It’s not about the reception being open longer for assistance, but rather about having a shared space where guests can sit together, relax, and spend some time in the evening. It was the first time we experienced this in a hotel, and we did slightly miss having access to a communal area later in the day. However, for a short stay, this did not cause us any real inconvenience. Overall, the hotel is fantastic, and we would definitely recommend it.

Very decent budget hotel, close to Innsbruck

    rating15 Jan 2026

This hotel, situated very close to Innsbruck (not by foot, but you could do it by bike, perfect by train or bus) has clean rooms, a decent bathroom. It has some mountain views, but understand that it's in an industrial zone, so not like you're in an idyllic nature reserve. The price is reasonable, especially compared to the hotels in the center of Innsbruck. Some restaurants are not too far away on food (especially a good Greek place). There's a medium-sized supermarket on the ground floor just next to the hotel. Staff if very friendly, especially the manager. Breakfast is very good and cheap. Perfect for a short stay in Innsbruck.

A mixed review hotel. Clean but lacks basic necessities .the location is close to a bus stop that goes to city centre

A mixed review hotel. Clean but lacks basic necessities like glasses to drink water. Worst is it doesn’t run hot water for shower. It has only warm water very unsuitable for a shower. Upon bringing it to the receptions notice. They advised let the water run for 30 mins and then hot water will come , but it didn’t work that way. There is no one at the reception after 8:00 pm to attend incase if guests need anything. the location is close to a bus stop that takes us to city centre.

    Good choice for multi-city journey

We're on the way to Salzburg from the ski trip in Ischgl. Innsbruck is the place for us to stop by. Hwest Hotel location is wonderful as it is along the high way and very easy to navigate. The place is quiet. The staff is very helpful. Rooms are value for money. If they provide shuttle (paid) from hotel to old town, it would be fantastic. Breakfast is very good quality.

    Third World experience

    rating15 Nov 2025

Probably the worst hotel experience of my life (and I travel a lot). I've never seen costumers treated with this indifference and arrogance. We arrived a few minutes after 8 PM (a rather usual time to check-in in an hotel) only to find that they had closed the main entrance door basically in front of us. They were inside pretending not to see us outside. After several minutes, a guy from the reception finally exited the door, and his argument was that my *prepaid* reservation was lost because of our late (!) arrival. To my remonstrances, quite predictable and absolutely civilized given the bizarre situation, he kept telling me to stay calm (!) instead of addressing the situation, pretending he could not do anything to help me... and then disappeared again inside. Only after more several minutes and repeated calls to the number listed on the hotel's website, which were left on hold before the line dropped, a time we were left outside the door on the walkway with the prospect of not having a place to stay for the night, as the reception staff were walking away (I suppose to go home), to my remonstrances I would call the police a woman of the staff casually handed me the keys.Apart from this treatment, the hotel as a building is the bare minimum acceptable (which makes you think about how little 80 euros can do nowadays), with the space in front of the entrance infested with smoking customers. Direktions Team, Vertrieb at Hwest Hotel Hall, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, and we understand that the situation upon your arrival must have been extremely frustrating. We would like to clarify that our hotel does not operate a 24-hour reception. For this reason, guests arriving late receive an SMS with an access code that allows them to open our night safe, where their prepared room keys are securely stored. This procedure ensures that a smooth check-in is possible even after reception hours. It appears that in your case there was a misunderstanding or a technical/communication issue, for which we sincerely apologize. No guest should ever feel left without assistance or standing in front of a closed door. At the same time, we kindly emphasize that mutual respect and a polite tone are essential in any interaction, as they allow our team to provide help quickly and effectively. We also take note of your feedback regarding the facilities and the entrance area, and we will address these points in our internal meetings. We truly regret that your experience was unsatisfactory and would appreciate the opportunity to welcome you again in the future to offer you a far more positive impression of our service.Kind regards,Hwest Team
