Bad service at the bar and restaurant. Good location at the mountains

    rating20 Dec 2025

The room is ok, but it is imposible to regulate the roon temperature. We bought some +50 euros wine bottles at the bar and wait for almost an hour an a half for a waiter to show up. The manager (old man with glasses) was here but drinking with two different guest tables. He said that cocktails are not available and he did not even made an effort to offer something else (because he was busy drinking with his friends) just said we can orden “whatever” in a hurry. Adam was great, the only waiter serving around 15 tables at the bar and restaurant. Still two night left here..

A 2 star experience at a 4 star rated hotel.

    rating07 Aug 2025

We were here for 7 days. The restaurant closed at 9pm. It was irrelevant that you were still eating having sat at 8pm.The bar closed at 9pm most days! The bar stock was limited. No brandy, cognac, white rum (Bacardi etc). The front terrace awning was rolled back & heating turned off at 9pm while sat there.Rain overnight would soak half the terrace seating area. It would not be dried the following morning, meaning seating area was limited most days. Some days it was never dried! Two tables on the terrace, capable of seating 8, were permanently reserved. This, i was told, was for the hotel owners & their guests, who received priority attention from the staff over guests.Blankets were available on the terrace for the cold weather. However, they were never cleaned in the week we were present. It took 4 days for reception to issue the 'Innsbruck card'. This card gave free travel & free entry to many sites. It is only valid for the first 4 days of your stay, so had expired & was useless. The elevator at reception jammed with the doors open at the reception level. It would not respond to calls from any floor. Reception said to call them from the room & they would send it to the appropriate floor! This is totally impractical. Also, reception closed at 9pm!Breakfast was also an issue. Constantly running out of croissants, orange juice, sausages, boiled eggs, freshly cut fruit. The automatic coffee machines invariably burnt the coffee beans making it undrinkable. Most of the staff were very polite & helpful, but somewhat disorganised at times. The hotel was an expensive disappointment.

    Everything I needed

    rating30 Jun 2025

I only stayed one night on my way to the Dolomites but would happily go back. There’s a large car park but there’s also an underground car park where I was able to securely park my motorcycle for the night, as did two other motorcyclists and a large group of cyclists. Although the corridors and rooms look a little tired it was all very clean and my room was quiet. I enjoyed a nice beer before going into the restaurant where the Wiener Schnitzel was excellent, and very large! All the staff were helpful and my very limited German was not put to the test as they spoke very good English.
