  Surprising 3 Star hotel near Salzburg sites. The 150 bus stop to St. Gilgen and Bad Ichl is across the street. Clean modern rooms. Stayed 6 days. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.

  We arrived at 2pm but was told our room would not be ready till 3pm which was not an issue but was told by the friendly receptionist we could leave our luggage in the luggage room which was basically a locker room whereby there was a free token you put into the locker which opened it and released the key you put your luggage in lock it and take the key with you. ( not big enough for large cases though)The hotel is situated on a corner in an ideal position for all the public transport and about a 5-10minute walk to the centre of Salzburg.There is a supermarket directly across the road and several restaurants very nearby as well as some bars and shops too.The train station if you want to walk to and from it is about a twenty minute walk or you can get the bus which is about 5 minutes.We used the pre check in service before we arrived that the hotel offers which saved time when we did check in also you get a free guest mobility ticket which means you can use any of the public transport for free during your stay which i thought was excellent and very useful especially if you want to visit places further a field.When we got the keys to our room we were given room 306 which had a view of the hotel garden and houses across the way. The room was clean and again the bed was comfy the only issue we had was the room got very warm during the night as they have under floor heating which you can not change the temperature in the room as it is controlled by reception so we had to have the window open at night.The Wifi was good and bathroom and shower also good and there was also a fridge in the room.There was enough room for clothes etc the floor was laminate as were the corridors so there was some noise when people were leaving early morning with cases but did not bother me as sound sleeper but may bother people who are not.Breakfast is from 7.00am till 10.00am and check out is 11.00am and the front reception is manned from 7.00am till 10.00pm between these hours there is a card reader outside so you can get in as the main doors are locked after 10pm.Breakfast again was good with a good choice of food on offer and the staff kept the food topped up and were on top of everything.The hotel is in a good position not too far away from centre and not too close and the walk to the centre is a nice walk through the little alley ways filled with shops ,bars etc.The hotel does offer free coffee, tea and water which is located in the seating area near the reception desk.The staff were always very helpful and pleasant during our stay and i would stay here again if i ever visited Salzburg again but my wife was not too sure just because of the heating issue.

  We booked for a two night stay. I asked for a garden view quiet room and got a booking.com message we had one. I am a light sleeper. We paid then we were told we haven't got one when I made sure. So we paid €30 more. Room 202. The hotel was full. Not the friendlies young man on reception. The room was rather underwhelming. The wooden floor squeeks when walking on it. The room was very warm. As we had a early morning flight we went to bed early to then be woken by next door coming in talking. The walls are paper thin. We rang reception. No answer. Apparently no one mans this at night. We opened the window to sounds of Ambulances. The next morning we reported this. We were out all day on trip. We asked at reception on return from our trips. Booking.com say these rooms are soundproof. Not 202. We got €30 back. The breakfast was really tasty otherwise I would give this hotel 2 ☆ . No air-conditioning at this time of year. We didn't sleep well both nights. We wouldn't return. Loved Saltzburg despite not the best stay. Not sure if we just got a rubbish room.

  When we Arrived Reception was very clean and tidy The man told us what room we were in.When we got up to the room it was clean and tidy as well as reception the room was lovely and neat there was a lot of English Tv stations which was brilliant because most other hotels have very little. The beds were highly comfortable!!The breakfast was very delicious I’m a picky eater and the food was amazing! A bus stop would work really well outside the hotel!Other than the bus I had a brilliant stay!

  We sfayed for 1 night. Room was clean and perfect for 1 night stay. Great location. Breakfast had a good selection. We stayed for just one night, but the room was super clean and totally perfect for that quick stopover. The location was a huge plus, making it really easy to get around. We also thought the breakfast offered a really nice selection to start the day. Honestly, for a short stay, it hit all the right notes. We'd definitely consider coming back if we're in the area again.
