  The bed was really hard and uncomfortable while the pillows were poor quality and very soft.Bad quality laminate on floor. No kettle in room so were told we could help ourselves to tea and coffee in lounge,what a joke! Most times coffee was cold.Only 3 or 4 teabags there at any one time,no spoons or milk.The coffee station doubled as a bar,another joke!.Bar was self service but it was only a cooler with very little choice.One type of beer, cava and the only spirit was compari and soda.Only small juice glasses available.There was red wine available with proper glasses.There was also a sign asking guests to refrain from loud noise ir laughing after 10pm.Cant see anyone laughing in there.The hotel had some nice features and was clean.When we asked for a second pillow each,it was not a problem.Location was as advertised,close to train station and 15min walk from Aldstadt.To advertise bar and restaurant is false advertising as restaurant only open for breakfast which was a whopping 24e each.Did not sample.

  No show, no refund, no way again

  We found the negative response to our request to cancel one of three nights disappointing. We were fog-bound in Krakow for a day so had to travel a day late but even with as much notice of this as we could offer the hotel refused to refund the room or breakfasts. This policy will mean we don't visit again - and the lack of a kettle in the room.

  The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of restaurant and supermarkets nearby. The Old Town (Aldstadt) is within walkable distance where major sightseeing places are located. The hotel itself is comfortable. Rooms and passageways are clean and well-maintained. The sink is placed inside the room instead of in the bathroom, strange but not disturbing. Didn’t try the breakfast, found it expensive. No tea/coffee arrangement or at least an electric kettle in the room. Not provided even on request. Got to go to the common dining area downstairs to obtain tea or coffee. That was our problem!

  Good location that’s within easy walking distance of many Salzburg sights, restaurants, and shops. The room was pretty good, definitely appreciated the AC in July. I wish there was a top sheet instead of the hot duvet but that’s European hotels I guess. We didn’t try the breakfast because we thought it seemed expensive. The staff we interacted with were nice.

  I was disappointed from the very first arrival Met by a very aggressive and demanding staff at checking. She questioned everything, and critisized us. We were not given any directions to facilities or room.The room itself was large, but sparsly furnished.We didn't feel very welcomed at all
