Facility

The hotel was built in 1903. 32 rooms, including 2 single rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room.     Not recommended for anyone looking for trustworthy and reliable accommodation. I had booked through HRS on a non-refundable rate, but then had to change my plans. As this was so soon after booking and almost six months before the stay, I hoped they would be accommodating and wrote to the hotel. They agreed to cancel the booking and confirmed that I could forward this message to HRS. However, they then sent HRS a message contradicting this, as if they wanted to shift the blame onto HRS. It’s fine to insist on a non-refundable booking, but it’s not fine to first agree to a cancellation and then simply not keep your word.

    We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lasserhof, Salzburg (a city I absolutely fell in love with). Its location is ideal, just a short walk from the train station and within walking distance of all the sights. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was good. A real highlight was our charming attic room with a private terrace. Great value! love the

    Hotel was clean although it needs renovation!Bathroom is tiny and the pillows are terrible.Close to public transport.The breakfast is pretty average, it’s the same everyday as we stayed 8 nights.Staff were nice.

    Poor catering for coeliacs and vegetarians? The one hot chauffeur dish at breakfast contained both bacon & eggs. Meaning the eggs are no good to a vegetarian and brings in to question cross contamination on other food items. If you don’t know the basics?

    I stayed just one night at this hotel and it fulfilled my needs perfectly.The air conditioning in particular was superb - almost totally silent at night, enabling a perfect night’s sleep.The breakfast room was quiet, with just very gentle, non-intrusive music softly in the background - again a perfect start to the day. This was further improved by the friendliest of staff, who made me feel really welcome and provided excellent customer service.Added to this, the fact that it is only a few minutes walk to the station as well as to the Mirabell Platz and you have the perfect place to stay in Salzburg. My thanks to all the team for making my short stay such a pleasure, I’ll definitely be back!!!
