Location

The hotel lies right in the heart of the Festival City of Salzburg, right next to the Mönschberg. It takes less than 3 minutes to walk to the Getreidegasse. Of course, Salzburg's world famous Festival Hall, numerous cultural sights, galleries and popular bars and pubs are all close to the hotel. The central train station is about 15 minutes away by public transport, and Salzburg Airport is just 10 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 89 non-smoking rooms located in two 4-storey buildings with lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park. Further services include a babysitting service on request, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.     If you want something budget simple and close to the city centre then this is for you keeping things simple staff are friendly enough breakfast was good a nice range of foods and drinks rooms nothing special but certainly did the job this hotel was nice and warm inside would consider stopping here again had everything I needed

    This hotel is a budget hotel. It's basic and that's all I wanted. The staff where very friendly and helpful. I walked everywhere but if you can't then there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. very good value for money

    There are two buildings. I stayed at the one at Neutorstraße 8. It is very basic but I was not looking for any frills. The room was clean and the staff was nice. I don’t usually have my linens or towels changed at hotels so cannot comment on the frequency. I was there in winter and the room was cozy and warm. There was an adjustable heater in the bathroom and the bedroom. I really have zero complaints. But again, it is not a fancy hotel - it is a budget option just outside of the action in AltStadt which was perfect and exactly what I was seeking!

    A very expensive budget hotel with mediocre breakfast and dated rooms that are quite dirty. Booked during the Festspiele the rooms were extra expensive without extra efforts. There was a white shower curtain with a yellow bottom edge and the tiles show black mold. Dust in corners, and stripes indicating dirty water for cleaning. No climate control but a fan, so with summer its really sweaty and that is why we havent slept any whole night during a 3 night stay. Frustrating, it must be said, even though a 40% refund on the room price was offered and taken, it still leaves a 130€ per night. I would say for this money: look further

    Look elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Old and crumbling accommodations. Shower is missing shelf but old screw holes are still there with broken tile. No A/C and no fans when requested. Hotel reception staff extremely rude. Only positive is the town and surroundings. Beware if you’re placed in the older building across the street because crossing the main road with luggage is quite dangerous.
