    Everything was beyond expectation. The breakfast was great with lots of hot and cold food options. There were also sweets and soft drinks every morning. The staff was very attentive to our requests and very polite. The hotel's location is very close to the central train station and the bus lines that connect to the old city centre.

    Clean room and ok location. However reception and housekeeping staff were unhelpful - asked three times for laundry to be done and it never was. Also had to ask for bathroom supplies to be replenished, which should not need to be the case for a hotel that rates itself as 4 star.

    Hotel had a certain charm but that was it.We stayed for 2 nights as part of an Australian tour, and the location of the hotel was way too far from the Salzburg attractions and located in not a great area.But after travelling extensively around the world the worse memory is being charged 3€ for a bowl of ice each night! Never have we been charged for ice, and we had to come down to reception to pick it up, not even delivered by room service

    I booked this hotel because the price was good and the location was convenient. Based on the photos I wasn't expecting anything special but I was so wrong. It was actually a very elegant hotel. The room, while small by North American standards, was actually relatively large and even had a tiny kitchenette. The staff were very professional and genuinely nice. Even by the very high standards Austrian hotels set the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Everyone's experience is different, but I am shocked the rating isn't higher than it is.

    I feel like they have to be paying people for these good reviews. very unkind owner who yelled at us for a misunderstanding... the rooms are outdated and uncomfortable with a strange smell and just overall not worth how much they are charging.
