  For the price, I thought this was a good deal. The location was a little out but not too bothered about the walk. The staff were good and check in was easy.There weren’t any curtains up when we arrived but we managed to put them up no problem, there was also an issue with the shower plug blocking up although my partner sorted it with a plunger - the hotel were happy to sort although my partner wanted to. Bed was the comfiest I gave stayed in with a cheap hotel and sheets were very soft. Very spacious room with a big fan to keep us cool, overall, a very good stay

  I have seldom felt so cheated. Old, dirty, not ready, a different room than booked. No chair to sit on, not inside, not outside. The restaurant no longer exists. No apologies no money back. we left too dirty to sleep there.

  Worst hotel ever !!

  I booked this hotel just because it’s with breakfast and I payed 75€ for the night ( I know it’s not much but also not cheap) The breakfast was for just the first day and then I woke up every morning for breakfast but nobody is there no employees no service no nothing!! And when I call to ask what’s happening.. a man answering me and he didn’t apologize or try to fix it ! No his answer was just because there is no enough Guests in the hotel so they don’t do breakfast! I could stay in Salzburg in better with better price without breakfast! Also the room is too small ! They say it’s come with sofa ? No sofa and the bathroom No windows, no fan hood.. easily it was the worst experience ever !!

  Worst Hotel ever!! Do not get tricked by their photos. Falsely advertisement. Their rooms are disgustingly dirty, and the smell was intoxicating. The management handled by the rude Indian staff. He was very defensive when we were upset that the hotel does not have an elevator, as stated in Trip.com. He gave us two ground floor rooms 601 and 602; we were utterly shocked that the smell in the rooms was horrible. The staff even wanted to charge us extra 450€ for additional guests. We booked a larger family room. At the end, we requested a full refund, he said non-refundable and ignored us. He left the building for a while. We had to find different accommodation as we had an elderly grandma and three kids who were tired from a long journey. Disappointed by Trip.com as well, at first they asked for photos of evidence and after a few emails of complaints, they offered an emotional compensation of 55£. What a joke! After being a loyal customer for some time, I can say that will be my last choice. DO NOT BOOK with trip.com as well. Not helpful. Never choose Itzlinger Hof!!!!

  If going to Salzburg please read reviews of these 2 hotels, and avoid.Evido Salzburg City Center Hotel Restaurant Itzlinger Hof SalzburgI went to the Evido for 3 nights in a wheelchair, and the lift was not working. I was transferred to Itzlinger Hof and this was not accessible. See photoThey had taken my payment of €300 before I arrived and would not give me a refund, they won't reply to emails and hang up when I phone. Be warned they will rob you.
