  Brilliant location,lovely clean rooms.Fantastic breakfast as well.We found no issue with outside noise and the restaurants nearby were all good value for money with good choice of food and quality.The only minor complaint with hotel is they should have more choice of drinks in the bar.Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.   A very nice and clean hotel in city center. Very friendly staff. The breakfast is OK. What brings it to 3 stars is the value for money. There is no conditioner in the room and the soaps are very cheap. 2 in 1 schampoo... feels a bit budget. The AC in the room is not functioning well. Lucky for us its only +10 degrees outside but cant imagines surviving here if its +20 outside.We paid 320€ for 1 night.   Great Location in Stunning Salzburg

  We stayed 2 nights at the Leonardo Salzburg and were happy with our stay. The location was great, not far from Mirabell Gardens, a short walk to the Sound of Music bus tour pick up and not far from the bridge over to the old town. We were 3 adults and booked a suite. The room was spacious and the couch area had been turned into a separate bedroom area for the 3rd person. We thought having the toilet and shower room separated was great, especially being 3 females all trying to get ready at the same time! The room and the hotel was clean, except for a dirty old sock a previous guest must have left in the wardrobe, meaning this couldn't have been checked. Breakfast was ok with a choice of hot/cold and savoury/sweet items. No beans though. We only came across 2 reception and breakfast staff during our visit, and although they were efficient enough, there was no real warmth or welcome/goodbyeWe were also there for my daughters 'special birthday' I had emailed ahead to ask if I could put a little banner up in the room and was told 'as long as you take it down again' The hotel knew it was a special birthday, but there was no mention of it at all. Last month was my partners 60th birthday, and the hotel we stayed in left prosecco, chocolates and a card in our room. I wasn't expecting that level of customer service, but im surprised there wasn't a verbal Happy Birthday or a little note in the room, especially as we had booked the suiteAll in all though, we had a nice stay and would recommend Stefanie Matti, General Manager at Leonardo Boutique Hotel Salzburg Gablerbrau, responded to this review Dear Maureen!Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback following your recent stay at Leonardo Salzburg.
