Location

This city hotel is superbly located in the heart of the historic centre of Salzburg with its many world famous sights, directly on the banks of the Salzach River. Links to the public transport system are just 300 m away and can be easily reached by foot.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 13 suites and 49 double rooms located in two 5-storey buildings with lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library.     Mozart music in an intimate setting

    We attended an afternoon piano - violin concert at the Radisson Blu Salzburg. It was an excellent way to complete our visit to Mozart’s birthplace. The hotel is to be commended for offering these performances featuring accomplished music students who are studying in Salzburg. The intimate setting was the perfect venue to hear Mozart.     Staff member Albert was extremely rude !

    We were really enjoying our stay until we met your staff member Albert this morning. Room has been good and a lovely breakfast with your 2 wonderful female staff members in the dining area each morning.But today that good stay ended when we met Albert.We went for breakfast. We stood waiting for a table. It was busy. Albert came over and explained the dining room was full and we would have to wait in their smaller eating room until a table became available. No problem - note the smaller room is very dark and not very inviting.So we move to the small room and then we go to get our food.But then I see the lady and man that were in the queue behind us waiting for a table - Albert takes then straight away to a very nice table in the nice dining room.So we were first in the queue and we have to wait in the not so nice room - and the 2 people behind us get taken straight away to a nice table.I tried to speak to Albert about this but he was very dismissive. He would not listen to me and walked away - not without first telling me he was the Hotel Manager.I'm sorry Albert , but first rule of being a manager is to listen to your customers if they have a complaint and address them. Dont just walk away.So it's still a mystery why people behind us in the queue were treated differently by AlbertWe had really been enjoying our stay here up until today.     Charm, conveniently located

    I booked this hotel because it was conveniently located to the my tours. Located in old town Salzburg the hotel has charm. Shops snd restaurants are close by. Staff was personable and friendly. I opted for the daily breakfast and it did not disappoint. There was a variety of different foods. My room was clean and cozy. Happy to report no noisy quests the evenings were nice and quiet. My room overlooked the Salzach river which was a nice treat to wake up to every morning.     Wonderful 3-night stay in May 2026

    Wonderful hotel in the heart of Old Town! Albert, the GM, is amazing. We stayed in room 417, a standard room with a foyer, huge bedroom (bigger than US standard hotel rooms), and a large bath with two sinks, a tub, separate shower, toilet, and bidet. The room also has an air conditioning unit for the warmer months. Breakfast each day was delicious, and the staff will custom make an omelette upon request. Mere steps away from the hotel you can visit the fortress, Salzburg Cathedral, and so many more sites. Mirabell Gardens is across the river, about a 12-minute walk. Highly recommend this hotel!
