    The Hotel Sallerhof is the perfect place to stay to explore Salzburg and the surrounding area.The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are large. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The shower is also very powerful with lots of hot water. Breakfast was delicious with everything from cereals, fresh fruits, breads, cold meats to omellettes etc. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.We didn't have a car so used the buses to go into Salzburg. The bus stops are just outside the hotel and the buses are frequent and go into the heart ofthe city or into Saint Leonhards for the Unterburgbahn, a must. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby or on the bus route. Thank you all for a great stay.

    We had an absolutely lovely stay at Hotel Sallerhof. We enjoy the smaller family run hotels and this one did not disappoint. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sallerhof and hope to return to beautiful Salzburg again some day soon. The hotel is conveniently located in the village of Grodig, about 6km from old stadt Salzburg. Your stay includes the local public bus network, with 2 stops right outside the hotel. It was nice returning to the peacefulness of the village after spending the entire day touring Salzburg. Lots of restaurants in close proximity, and the food was excellent. Breakfast at the hotel featured amazing local produce, cheeses, meats and breads. We loved it. Thank you to the Schnöll-Reichl family for your hospitality.Barbara and Jacques

    A beautiful decorated hotel with lovely gardens. Situated in a quiet village which has a spar,cafe and 3 restaurant which you must try. It's idea to go up untersberg mountain. Bus service is good to salzburg. Immaculate clean. All staff very friendly but son especially helpful to suggest the local restaurant. Lovely nights sleep. Would highly recommend.

    This was the perfect hotel to stay if you don't want to be right in Salzburg. Such an easy/relaxing bus ride to town yet you can sleep/eat in cute little village. All staff super nice and helpful. Rooms very clean, nice bathrooms. Breakfast was very nice with variety. Thank you!!

    Everything was exceptional. The room was lovely - modern yet cozy. Excellent quality throughout. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Even though it was cool and rainy outside, the blankets provided allowed us to enjoy the view from the balcony. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome. The neighborhood is pretty and quiet. The bus connections to Salzburg are easy.
