The hotel is situated by a park near to the Parliament building, close to the U-Bahn (underground train) lines U2 and U3 and to the Volkstheater. The underground station Lerchenfelderstrasse is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The centre is within walking distance, around 5-10 minutes away on foot. Vienna Airport is around 25 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 184 non-smoking rooms, including 60 single rooms and 115 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Do Not Visit for Public Viewing. Terrible

    Dreadful experience all round during Eurovision Song contest public viewing. Downstairs lobby staff are quite professional with Up market corporate layout. However....5th Floor Rooftop disastrously organised. Twice went out to main bar to get drinks, no bar staff present with about 60 people queuing. The two guys behind bar seemed very stressed when they re -emerged. Lady behind sidebar completely untrained. She was hitting out at her colleagues in a very unprofessional manner in full view of patrons....she did not know how to operate the till or make drinks. The paying guests missed the first ten minutes of ESC as they had the wrong channel switched on....same lady behind bar was clueless and ran off. Another guest figured out their system eventually. Then half way through the list of songs, the sound went entirely. Everyone complaining and rowing with each other...such a bad experience at 25 hour Hotel (at least with the highly inexperienced staff on Rooftop 5th Floor)

    I guess everyone reviewing this hotel will use the word "quirky" which is often used as a euphemism for shortcomings in some department.However, this hotel does all the basics very, very well, and then adds a cloth elephant on top. The location is ideal for seeing the centre of Vienna, with everything either in walking distance or just a couple of stops on a tram or the U-bahn.If I return to Vienna, I would definitely book here again.     This hotel is in a great location to visit the majority of the museums in Vienna also ideal for the biggest Christmas Market in Vienna. I booked a gigantic room which was very spacious, the mini kitchen is ideal for cooking meals. The bathroom has a large shower for yodelling in, you'll see if you try. Breakfast is very good.
