  Apart from the lobby area, this is quite a worn out property that has not been well maintained. It is quite clear that the hotel makes its business from conference visitors to the Austria Center down the road.The room was very basic but clean, with a gloomy view of a parking lot. Taking a shower is quite inconvenient. The bathroom has a big old tub and no shower cubicle. The tub has a partial shower door which is nowhere near big enough to keep the water from spilling out. The hand held shower does not sit conveniently in the slot as well resulting in water spilling all over the place.There is no drinking water provided, with a message in the room encouraging you to drink tap water instead. Given the tired state of the hotel, I would hate to think of the state of the rusty old water pipes and tanks that store this water.All of this can normally be overcome with a fine breakfast. Sadly, breakfast was well below par, with not much in terms of variety, quantity, or quality. Coffee was nothing to write home about either with lines in front of a coffee machine that was barely functioning. The location is far from the city center of Vienna so you will need to take a taxi or metro (U-Bahn) into the city. There is a metro station right outside the hotel while Ubers and taxis are plentiful.Overall, not a great place to stay but if you are attending an event at the Austria Center, the location is convenient.   Good choice and no noise

  This hotel may not be fancy and it's far from the city center BUT the rooms are spacious, very clean and the bed is very comfortable. My room was a corner room with a nice view over the park, was recently renovated and very important for me, had very good soundproofing. Most of the customers are business people so you it is a quiet hotel. Breakfast was average , but if quiet is important to you, this is a good choice.   Hotel cancelled my booking on day of arrival!

  Booked to stay one night for a conference as othee colleagues also staying there. Was phoned on the day of arrival (!) to be told that they had overbooked and could not accommodate me. They offered a room at a sister hotel that doesn’t have the spa facilities 20 minutes away. Not impressed! Have booked an alternative hotel nearby which fortunately had availability!   Basically, I booked this hotel to attend a medical meeting. I received a phone call 12 hours before my flight stating that they were experiencing electricity and water problems and that I had to choose between a cancellation or being booked to another affiliated hotel (did not provide more details at the time). Of course in such a short notice I chose the second option and they stated I would receive an email with the complete information. On a side note, this other hotel was more expensive and half empty as well as being further away from the convention center. Here is the problem. First, I never received any email from their team before landing so I had to waste 2 hours to go to the original hotel to manage the situation after arriving in the middle of the night. Second, after chatting with another guest who arrived at the same time as I did, I realized they were relocating guests from multiple parties because they (obviously intentionally) overbooked the hotel and not because of water/electricity issues as stated. Third, I tried to call all the phone numbers on their website but none was in service except for the restaurant but the employee hung up on me when I tried to explain the situation. It’s safe to stay I was put in a corner and ultimately scammed (or alternatively was a victim of severe incompetence through the whole process).   My stay at Arcotel Kaiserwasser Wien was nothing short of exceptional. The customer service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made me feel at home. Special shout out to the young lady who does the main check-ins and check-outs.One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. Nestled right across the street from the United Nations, it boasts a beautiful park that straddles the Danube in its backyard. This serene oasis offers a perfect escape for leisurely strolls, peaceful moments by the water, and breathtaking views.
