Location

The hotel is located in the recreational area of Wienerberg, in the green suburbs south of Vienna. The hotel is near the A2 motorway and 100 metres from the bus stops heading into the centre. It takes 13 minutes to reach the centre by bus, or 20 minutes by car. It is only 6 km from Vienna State Opera.

Facility

The hotel has 142 rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Most staff quite unfriendly except Mohammed. The reception when we arrived seemed quite annoyed with us and not very helpful.It was very noise because a big tour group arrived and the kids ran through the passage until early hours.Not even a cup or kettle in room Nicole Guelle, Inhaber at Arion Cityhotel Vienna, responded to this review Dear guest,thank you for your feedback and for highlighting Mohammed’s friendliness – we will gladly pass your kind words on to him.     Stayed here while on my short visit to Vienna, really friendly staff and nice clean rooms, zero complaints. Would like the location to be closer to city centre, but for the price it was spot on. Actually prefer my resting place to be in a quieter neighbourhood, so it might even be a plus. Hard to beat price performance!     This hotel is great for a city-break with your family! It was clean and comfortable. My family & I went here twice once in 2023 & once in 2024 to visit the Christmas market. The employees were nice, friendly and ready to help!     This was fine for over-nite but nothing more. Not really near anything other than the airport but that suited our needs. Free shuttle to the airport was nice - driver was courteous.
