    We would like to say a big thank you to Sammy who helped us to organise tour to Hallstatt after the one we booked did not show up! Sammy went to the extra mile to contact them but to no avail. He then advised us how to get a refund from my credit card as well as sought for a replacement tour for us.Also a big thank you to Anna who helped to look for a clinic for us and finally after many phone calls told us to go to the public hospital within walking distance from the hotel. We took her advice and the experience at the hospitals was another excellent service as we had a flight on the same afternoon. The hospital treatment was expedited and we were on time for our afternoon flight. Kudos to Austria Classic Hotel’s customer service (Sammy and Anna), and to the public healthcare of Austria!     Wonderful Hotel

    A wonderful hotel in a great location. This hotel really is a classic, an older hotel that is in immaculate condition. Very clean comfy rooms with air con if needed. Good sized bathroom with powerful shower and quiet at night. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant just a breakfast room but vienna has so many good restaurants that it is not needed here. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The staff are some of the best I've come across in a hotel. Friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk to Prater Park or 2 stops on the train or 30 min walk to Stephanplatz, the centre of Vienna. It's a nice quieter area than the very busy city centre. It is also direct by train to and from the airport using the S7 red train to/from Pratersen.I would absolutely use this hotel again if returning to vienna.     The service when you arrive is great, as they explain where all the public transport and sight seeing places are. The styling of the hotel is a little dated but matters little as it is exceptionally well kept, with everything being clean and tidy. Breakfast was a delight with cooked options, eggs, roast vegetables as well as pastries, pancakes and cakes, yoghurt, fruit salad and prosecco if you fancied it. It is close to an underground station, so easy to get around Vienna. There is a park nearby, which was useful for running and also near the start of the Vienna Marathon, which made it so easy for my partner who was taking part. The hotel offered the use of the showers for guests who were taking part in the marathon even after they had checked out.     Perfect spot to visit Vienna 5 min walk from U1 Metro line . Friendly stuff excellent breakfast quality and variety witha very spacious room for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 14 years old).The room had normal beds instead of the bed -couches found in many other hotel rooms.     It is good quality without being overly luxurious, which is exactly what I am looking for. The room is small but comfortable, and includes a small fridge, a kettle, and enough places to hang towels in the washroom. Breakfast is good with enough variety for everyone. The hotel is not far from either of two metro stations, which allows you to easily explore Vienna. All in all a very pleasant stay.
