  Location is great for the U-ban links- the Hietzing station is a 2 minute walk away and other tourist attractions close by. This is probably the only good thing about the actual hotel is it's location- which I think is the only thing that sold it to us. From arrival staff were rude, short and generally unfriendly and unwelcoming- from our first encounter with front of house suspiciously checking out whether we were in the right hotel..... to being judged daily by some staff in the breakfast room. Initially we thought Austrian people being unfriendly was a joke but no it turns out this is actually very true and getting a side eye, a disgusted look or a tut is usual practice. At the time we were left quite hurt, confused and upset by how we were treated so much so we actively avoided any interaction with the staff unless it was absolutely necessary. The hotel is dated and while it looks grand it could do with modernisation. People smoke everywhere and if you are unlucky enough to open your window their second hand smoke blows in. Decor is outdated and chintz. The toilets in the rooms are very small and showers over baths feel unsafe with no grab rails to hold on to. It seems this hotel caters very well for conferences and events and hotel guests are a second thought. There were 2 conferences over the 5 work days and school prom on the Saturday evening- lots of security and teenagers running around.Breakfast was EXPENSIVE 🫰 £28 for the continental buffet. Eggs were questionable both the soft boiled and scrambled. While the "egg chef" was overly loud and like a robot parody - it was a relief when she wasn't in the restaurant for a couple of days. Pastries and bread were often stale, my partner had a couple of sausages that were undercooked and pink inside. Food and drinks overall are very expensive in the hotel. I would support the local businesses - there are many really good places to eat in the local area and a Billa shop around the corner. I wouldn't waste your money in the hotel.Overall we would not return to this hotel again and find somewhere cheaper and much friendlier.

  great experience for 1 night. beds are confortable, AC working perfectly, rooms are very clean and service is great.   Room condition far below 4-star standard

  We stayed at this hotel with our two small children and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.The room we initially received was clearly below the standard expected from a 4-star hotel. The walls were visibly dirty, with multiple marks and stains in several areas, and the overall condition did not correspond to the presentation of the rooms online.We remained in the room for about one hour so our children could rest, but during that time, a staff member entered the room without knocking, which we found completely inappropriate and unexpected, especially in a 4-star hotel in Vienna.There was also noticeable noise from the hallway, suggesting poor sound insulation.Given the condition of the room and the overall experience, we did not feel comfortable continuing our stay and decided to leave shortly after.While the hotel later offered a partial refund, we believe the situation reflects a significant gap between the advertised standard and the actual experience.We hope this feedback will be taken into account to improve consistency and quality across rooms.   Very good hotel in Wien

  Would like to recommend the hotel, has a very nice location, close to U-bahn and also close to the fantastic Schönbrunn castle and nice castle garden/park. Food is also OK, staff serviceminded and friendly. Here and there the hotel could need some update or touch-up - paint missing in a lot of the corridors, looks a bit worn out here and there.   Great location, spacious room and beautiful interiors!

  We stayed at this hotel for 4 days on our Vienna trip. Two things which were amazing about this hotel - (a) spacious rooms and (b) its close proximity to metro station and the Schonbrunn PalaceThe room was very comfortable and spacious which is a rarity in Europe. It felt like a room in an Asian country. The breakfast was quite good and the chef making eggs was wonderful. She was warm and filled with energy serving all the guests in a jovial manner.The nearest metro station is less than 5 min walk which actually is a very important factor. The main square (First district) was 15 mins away by metro including the walks from metro station. The Schonbrunn Palace which is one of the main tourist attractions of Vienna and has the largest Christmas market is 10 mins walk away from the hotel. We had gone in December and visited this palace more than once due to the vibrant christmas market.Overall, i will highly recommend this hotel especially to the tourists travelling with family.
