Location

This hotel is situated in Vienna’s lively southern district, only 5 minutes’ walk from Europe's biggest shopping centre, Shopping City Süd. It lies around 25 min from central Vienna by public transportation. Right next to the hotel guests will find a stop for the Vienna Airport Bus and it is 9 km to Vienna’s Südbahnhof train station.

Facility

The hotel has 32 junior suites, 272 suites, 1 single room and 154 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing.     A very disappointing experience with the hotel staffAfter checking out of the hotel, I returned the same day to the reception because I had forgotten a personal item in my room. The staff told me they had found it and would bring it to me in a few minutes — however, no one ever showed up. I came back again a few hours later, but still received no information or any honest, concrete response.I felt deceived and completely ignored. Such behavior is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect toward guests. I am deeply disappointed, and it’s a shame that an otherwise pleasant stay was overshadowed by such carelessness and insincerity from the staff.

    Was put up at this hotel by an air-lines upon cancellation of flight and had to spend two days there.Among the stranger hotels we found ourselves in and would probably have never booked here oneself. It's away from the city and catering more for events, conferences and local commercial requirements.Not the place for individual tourists. Infrastructure seemed dated and less-maintained at places.Except for an individual or so , staff was extremely unfriendly, bordering on the ill-mannered with a permanent glower on their demenor. Could not get why such negative vibes from most!Though, there is a good mall nearby .Public transport is sparse with a Tram station nearby for Vienna.

    The hotel was obviously a real luxury resort in its day. Beginning to look a little tired around the edges but still quite a pleasant stay. The hotel has amazing wellness facilities including pools, sauna, gym etc, however, a bit of a complex journey finding them. Breakfast was pretty ordinary, however, you might luck in and get the premium breakfast restaurant, for us we were waved into the very overcrowded section rather than the nice section that only had two diners!? Breakfast was pretty simple in our section, and despite having well over a hundred diners at any one time, there was only one 2 slot toaster? Made for very long waits.Beds were comfortable, pillows were not. Toilet was a weird design and may have been the cause of the terrible smells coming out of it.

    The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Staff were so rude, unfriendly and dismissive. Restaraunt and bar understaffed and took 45 to 60 minutes to serve you and take your order. No tea or coffee making facilities in your room so had to wait until the restaraunt was open before you could have one.

    Beautiful place but very poor service

    The rooms are well kept and maintained, but there are no kettles or any other conveniences in the room.The lobby is well decorated and presented. However, they are hopelessly under staffed to the point that when we arrived on the 13/09/2024 none of the restaurants were opened for dinner. We were asked to go to the bar for dinner, but there were only 3 staff working. We waited for 45 minutes and left without being served. There was also no Room Service available. When we asked for an adapter, we were refused. We didn't see any of the staff smile in the 2 days were there.It's a pity to get such poor service in a beautiful hotel
