  We enjoyed a four night stay here. Easy access to Christmas markets and all the city attractions. Clean and modern hotel and a healthy selection from the breakfast buffet but u usual there are no evening meals available (Marienhof across the road do great Wiener Schnitzel).

  Hotel was perfect for what it was, we went for Christmas markets so was out a lot.Back is very overlooked so no walking round nude with curtains open.I liked the shower in the room it did have a curtain.Heard the odd person in the corridor but it was ok.For the price we payed we were happy.

  • A very weird layout to the room with the shower right in the middle of it with no privacy at all. You could literally bang your head on the glass in the middle of the night. Good thing that I was not travelling with a friend but my spouse instead. • The room was musty and the carpets throughout were dirty.• The air conditioner did not work in the room and they were not able to relocate us.• We asked for extra pillows three times and they brought us extra blankets instead.• The hotel itself was not in a good location, it was very loud from the street noise; it is on a very busy main street. • There is nothing close by to it except for the Metro Station. • The only good thing was the breakfast – lots of variety.

  Not bad, not good, if you cancel the room your money seems to be lost however

  Okay, so we booked the room via Booking.com, and accidentally 2 rooms, so we cancelled one room, and altered the booking - paid the fee for both room and the change in April. It is July and we still do not have our money back. The rooms looking at the Gürtel is very noisy. In our room the water temperature in the shower was hard to set as the tap was stuck, so we only had very hot water unless we were setting the shower with all of our strength. They did not changed the room as the 2nd receptionist was able to set it once. Otherwise room was clean, breakfast was pretty much ok, public transport is excellent around - but we won't book there anymore as we have still 300 Euro not paid back in 3 months. Unacceptable.

  Really good hotel close to Vienna Westbahnhof

  I booked this hotel because it is close to the Westbahnhof train station from which I have many transportation options in Vienna and also to travel outside the city and also close to Maria Hilfer Street where I always find something to buy - even with my eyes closed. This hotel is much better than I thought, it is very clean and the room was large and spacious with a comfortable bed and a view of the backyard which is much quieter than the side facing the main street which has a lot of car traffic. I only tried the breakfast once which costs 24 euros per person and it was excellent!!! Because I also like to try the wonderful cafes in Maria Hilfer nearby. I was a little disappointed that the room does not have a small fridge to put cold drinks and you have to go down to the lobby to buy if you need. The staff at the hotel is really professional and I want to especially mention Aliza who always smiles even before you approach her. But if I were to replace Martin Sperl, the manager, for just one day, the first thing I would do is put a drinking water dispenser in the sauna and gym area. There is no possibility to drink water in the saunas or in the gym!!!
