Location

This centrally located hotel is situated opposite the city's Hauptbahnhof, some 2 minutes' walk away. It is about 200 m to Belvedere and around 3 km to the city centre. Vienna Airport is approximately 20 km away.

The hotel was built in 1900. 6 junior suites, 3 suites, 2 apartments, 16 single rooms and 49 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected.     Great location (across from the train station so options are available for food & drinks on a Sunday when most places are closed), clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff (especially one gentleman at the reception desk in particular who always had a smile and answered all of our questions!).

    It is very conveniently located.Large family roomClean.There are plenty of restaurants around and different modes of transport- tram, underground, and tube.Take note there was no kettle but one was provided upon request. Would stay again.

    Stayed here for 1 night with my family. It was no air condition at this hotel, it was really hot and we had to have the windows open which didn't help that much. Outside there is a noisy street and train station. I would not recommend to stay here in the summer when it's hot outside. At the bathroom the water pressure in the sink and shower was really bad and unstable. At some times we just got very hot water and no cold water at all. It was not a good combination with the hot weather outside. We told the receptionist about the water pressure when we left but she didn't say much about it.The location of the hotel is good with the Wien Hauptbahnhof 2 min away and it's not that far from the city center. The room standard was okay. The most positive thing was the breakfast, it was a good selection of food and drinks.

    Dreadful and Ovrpriced

    I was charges 224.20 Euros for a dreadful room. Delapidated room. wall paper coming off the wall, dirty bathroom in poor condition. Stained carpets in corridor. Damaged walls and door frame. Just unbeleivable. I was asked if I would like an extra to get breakfast. Just amazing!!
