Due to the corona virus I was not able to travel. This hotel didn’t even considering refunding any of my money back and when I asked to changed the dates of my stay they completely ignored me. Terrible!!!

    Excellent hotel but negligent staff

    rating08 Oct 2019

We stayed from 23 Sep till 28 Sep. It was a separate flat in a house which includes other apartments of this hotel. Pay attention that the hotel headquarters are a ~1 hour walk from the apartment suite (20 min by subway). In case of questions or problems you should use your phone or instant messengers. Situated In 20 meters you can find a market, small cafes, a bakery and a "SPAR" store. A subway station is just a 5-minute walk. ApartmentBefore your arrival you will receive some instructions about how and where to get the keys. This is simple and unusual. The interior was clean and a little bit cool; turn on the heating for the best effect. There was a little kitchen with a kitchen stove, a kettle, a frying pan, a coffee machine with dispensers, necessary utensils, a mini-bar.The hair dryer was not there, but once we messaged the administration, the hair dryer was delivered in 30 minutes. We've stayed for 5 nights and the apartment was cleaned once - this is enough.Staff When we arrived we left our baggage at the main office bacause we arrived too early. The staff were friendly. There you can drink a coffee, get a MAP and ask to order a taxi to the airport - BUT BE CAREFUL!Two days in advance of our return flight we visited the main office, and asked to order a taxi to the airport 2 hours and 30 min before the departure flight (it's a ~25 min drive to the airport) from our apartment: the taxi had to be there at 3:30 AM. The hotel administration asked our flight details and we continued our acquaintance with Vienna.UNEXPECTED AND UNPLEASANT SITUATIONDay of our return flight. 3:30 AM - We are waiting for a taxi near our apartment. The taxi is not there. 3:45 AM - same thing.4:05 AM - The taxi never arrived. We ordered a taxi ourselves using Uber. Be CAREFUL: at this time you can order the taxi only via an app. We were distressed and outraged. How could they be so negligent? We could be late for the flight! I didn’t even want to think about the consequences... SummaryEverything was fine, but situation with the taxi... No comments. It is unfortunate that the actions, or rather the inaction of one person left such an unpleasant aftertaste about the journey. I recommend this hotel - but be wary when ordering taxis.

    Comfortable, easy, clean, nice deco

    rating05 Mar 2019

We did a stopover in Vienna on our way to our skiing holiday and decided to stay at this hotel because of the kitchenette and it being close to Schonbrunn as we had not visited the area before.Booking was very easy. Check in was also super easy, no reception desk but an email 2 days ahead of our arrival with a code. With this code we could unlock a safe next to the front door with the keys. Worked seamlessly.Suite is very spacious with a large bedroom, and separate living area with kitchen, dining table, large wooden bench with lots of cushions and a comfy chair. Feels like a small home. Large bathroom with a shower in the bathtub.Kitchenette had tea & coffee station, salt & pepper, fridge, pans, plates, cups etc. Not a lot but enough for 1 night. Dishwashing liquid available, no dishwasher.Few comments though: wifi was not working, we could log in but did not get any data. They could not fix it and it was really annoying as we came in from HK and really needed data….They offered to transfer us to another room around dinner time however, we just unpacked and settled for 1 night so that was very inconvenient. There was an extra bed in the living room for our son, however the bed collapsed in the middle of the night. Whenever her turned around in the bed, the bed legs would give away and the bed collapsed so we had to transfer his mattress to the wooden bench which was a few centimeters too small so again a risk of toppling of the bench with mattress and all.We booked the terrace suite where the bed room had direct access to the terrace at the back. However, all other guests have access as well and the bikes are kept there. In wintertime, that is fine, but if people are hanging out on the terrace in summer time, it will impact your sleep & privacy massively as they will be sitting right in front of your windows. They booking confirmation mentioned the name of a coffee place (milch bart) which we were unable to locate and when googling it said ‘permanently closed’…..The Meidlinger market sounds more exciting then it actually is. There are a few market stalls (with really nice cheeses, bauernbread, cabernossis etc), there is a Turkish bakery with a really friendly guy for fresh croissants in the morning. But most of the market stalls were closed on Saturday morning and Friday afternoon. There is a large supermarket around the corner though.Schonbrunn is a 2 min car ride away, so very convenient
