  A comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood

  We stayed at the Hampton for our first visit to Vienna. All in all, it was a great experience.- The neighborhood is outside the city center, adjacent to a large park and amusement park, but is less than a 5 minute walk to the U-bahn train station that gets you to the city center in minutes.- The room itself was large, clean, and very comfortable. The bed provided a good night sleep.- All the staff were friendly and helpful- The free breakfast provided all the basics you need to fuel up for a day of sightseeing, and the bar area in the lobby was good to hang out in for a nightcap before bed. If I visit Vienna again, I would happily stay here again.

  I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Vienna for four nights with my young son, and for the money we paid, it was an excellent experience from start to finish.The location is incredibly convenient – just a 5-minute walk past the McDonald’s café to the metro station, making it easy to explore all of Vienna. Even better, the iconic Prater amusement park is right behind the hotel. A must-do: the world’s tallest swing (recognized by the Guinness World Records). For €10 per person, it’s an exhilarating ride you’ll never forget and can proudly boast about afterward!Breakfast was superb – a great variety of high-quality options. My son was a huge fan of the waffles , and I personally loved the luxury teas and the delicious liver pâté.The room had everything we needed – comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. I noticed some comments about pillows, but honestly, you get two types: soft and hard – just pick your favorite. No issues at all.Staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help. The entire hotel was spotless. I would easily rate it 4 stars.There’s also a Billa grocery store not far away, which came in handy.We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would gladly stay again. A perfect choice for families too.

  To summarize, the main downside of this hotel is its customer service. The staff tend to be condescending, show little empathy, and make no effort to accommodate even simple requests, such as providing a table to work at.As for the rest, the rooms are standard for a 3-star hotel, nothing exceptional. The location, however, is convenient, as it is close to the universities.

  Be careful! We liked the hotel other than an unsafe electrical shock hazard.

  Be careful! I received an electrical shock (reaching for the TV remote) and could have been killed by an unsafe electrical outlet at this hotel. I am thankful that my grandson was not with us on this stay. I was only spared because I had not removed my shoes yet. It is a nice hotel, and we liked the rest of it. Just do not trust that your room is properly maintained and safe. Ours was not.
