Location

This luxury hotel is located on the famous Ringstraße and opposite the Stock Exchange. The Burgtheater, town hall, parliament, the Hofburg and the Staatsoper are all situated in the immediate vicinity. The airport is approximately 20 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 34 suites and 218 double rooms, which are located on 10 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Sport

Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and tennis are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, billiards and squash. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board.     Classy, elegant hotel right on the ring road.

    A very good stay here. Right on the ring road, and there is a metro stop across the street including the #1 tram which will get you almost anywhere, although much of old town is within walking distance. There is a well stocked grocery store also about a block behind the hotel. Very impressive executive lounge- there are a lot of business travelers so it gets busy in the evening but space was never a problem, and wonderful selection of wines, beer, soft drinks and food in the lounge. We ate at the restaurant one night and it was very good. The service and staff here are exceptional.

    My mom and I visited in April 2026. Service is definitely the top feature of the hotel. They’re helpful, kind, and know their stuff. The room was good - we were on the executive floor - but it needed some TLC. Some piece of the shower fell off, the bathroom mirror light didn’t work, etc. We were like around some little corner in maybe what was an add on. Not sure. Oddly few outlets in the room. Like we had to put the tea kettle in the bathroom because there’s no outlet where the coffeemaker and tea are. Don’t love that the shampoo and conditioner in this five star hotel are the same at the airport Hilton Garden Inn. No heat you can control unless outside drops below a certain temp. They were nice enough to bring up a space heater (though the wheels were broken and with few outlets, it was a little tricky.) The executive lounge is nice. Breakfast in there is very good. The massage was outstanding - worth booking. If you want to workout, be mindful that stairs are required to get to the weighs and stuff. A little confused as some workers took tips and others refused. Not sure if there’s a policy. Fantastic location. We’d stay here again.

    Where do I start......the location is situated centrally in a good part of the city with most sights easily accessible. The reception staff were approachable, friendly and above all very helpful going above and beyond. On second floor breakfast the choice was more than adequate and the staff helpful and approachable making breakfast comfortable with helpful staff. Room staff were discreet and set a very high standard both room and bathroom were beyond clean throughout our stay. In general the hotel was well located, spotlessly clean and well presented. When we had an external problem reception staff did all they could to resolve it on our behalf. Last word to the staff many thanks for making our stay a memorable occasion.

    What a difference time makes.

    It’s never easy to write a negative review about a hotel you’ve stayed at before, enjoyed, and even recommended to others—but unfortunately, this time was a complete disappointment. I won’t be returning.From start to finish, the experience was poor. On arrival, there was no porter or bellboy available to assist with luggage. Ironically, he seemed to appear only when help was no longer needed. Not the welcome you expect from a hotel of this category.The front desk was staffed by trainees who appeared to be unsupervised, resulting in a lack of professionalism and efficiency.The rooms are clearly outdated and fall short of even the minimum standards of a 4-star hotel—no tissues, a limited number of towels, and overall neglect in basic amenities. However, the biggest issue was the climate control system. The hotel uses an old centralized system that only provides heating—even when the room temperature is unbearably high.The suggested “solutions” were unacceptable:Open the windows for fresh airEndure significant street noise at nightDeal with insects, including bees, during the dayNone of these are reasonable compromises for a paying guest. Management showed little to no concern in addressing the issue.Food quality was mediocre at best, and service in the restaurant was consistently poor—breakfast being the only exception.My recommendation: look elsewhere. Consider more reliable options such as Hilton, InterContinental, or Marriott, where standards and service are more consistent.

    Stayed at this hotel some years ago and happy to return. Lovely hotel with pleasant staff. One gripe and one niggle. The niggle is that we had a corner room with oodles of space but therefore why not have two arm chairs? Our biggest grouse concerns breakfast which was very crowded due to the constraints of the architecture but the biggest issues was the temperature of the food. Over three days of our stay the food was consistently lukewarm. Even when a fresh tray of fried eggs was brought out my son said they were still not hot! These breakfasts were at 8:30 so plenty of guests and turnover.
