    A good hotel and conveniently located for concert halls and other places in Vienna.

    Stay was generally good. I asked for a quiet room when booking and then asked again when I arrived. Apparently I had been assigned a room on quite a high floor, maybe number 5, but the receptionist helpfully moved me to a corner room on the 5th floor which faced the inner courtyard, and it was quiet.The description of rooms on the hotel website when booking was a little misleading. Superior rooms with king size bed were advertised as "High floor". But there is an option after booking to upgrade to a room on a high floor for 10€ / night. But I thought my room was already on a high floor. After messaging via WhatsApp it transpired that superior rooms with king size bed are located from the 3rd floor upwards, not really high floor, more like mid to high floor. The paid option for a high floor means floor 6 or 7. The use of the term "High floor' on the website could be made clearer.As said before my room was quiet. It had very little noise, apart from the heating or ventilation system, but this can be switched off, and then it really is quiet. I found the room decor a little dull, it had a mildly depressing feel.My room was generally clean, although a couple of little spots of mud remained on the floor throughout my stay. Easy to miss by the cleaners though.The hand wash supplied is good but too strongly perfumed for me, which caused me to sneeze. I had to use a small supply of my own.On the first evening I ate in the bar bistro, restaurants nearby being already too busy, this was OK and the staff helpful, though the food was a little expensive. Breakfast I ate outside the hotel either in a Viennese café or a nearby Italian café, paying for a full breakfast in the hotel is expensive when all I want is a coffee and croissant or similar.I would probably stay here again as it is well located for several classical music venues, which was the main reason for my visit to Vienna, and the room price was reasonable.

    The hotel exterior is not that attractive but the interior is nicely decorated. Our room is spacious and we had a good sleep. As an Accor Gold member, our room was upgraded with free mini bar including drinks and snacks refilled each night. Also, on the first night a staff delivered to our room a tray of items that help you sleep: eye mask, tea bag, pillow mist. And another night, a chocolate bar was delivered to us and checked with us how was our stay.The breakfast buffet has a staff that makes a fresh cup of coffee like a cappuccino or latte, with non diary options. There is also a self served juicer that you can make a cup of juice using fresh apples, pears, ginger, etc. The food options are not that great though.All the staff have a smile and helpful.     Worst welcome ever in the reception. Ruud personell. Never felt as dumb and not welcome as a guest anywere. You get better welcome in a war sone being trown granades on.

    I am not satisfied, but nothing to complain. 3 or 4*? The hotel is really central, breakfast good. I did not get a good room (maybe because I traveled alone). 1st floor and each morning a view to a truck just outside my window coming with goods. Why did a get such a room?But I was lucky because I booked a table in the Michelin restaurant Apron in the hotel And it was fabulous. Thanks but of course I have not included this Michelin in the review of the hotel.ok hotel but not a perfect room.
