  Wonderful and perfect stay

  Everything was perfect:- location in the very heart of Vienna, we did everything walking (except Schonbrunn that is direct from the hotel with 15min metro)- Warm welcome of the whole staff - modern, clean and very comfortable rooms- great buffet breakfast with fresh and natural products- complimentary tea time (with hot drinks and cakes)Thank you for this wonderful stay

  We very much enjoyed our stay in Vienna at the Hotel Capricorno. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious. Also, we found the location of the hotel made it very easy to get from Wien Hbf and also to get around Vienna. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in Vienna. Thank you to the staff at Hotel Capricorno.   I first read about this hotel on a U.S. web page for Vienna and did they get it right!!! Yes, you do or may pay a little more than other hotels, but and it’s a BIG but. You get what you pay for. Everything you have read regarding the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff/hotel is a given. Where this hotel excels is location. It is situated at Swechdenplatz and at this point, there is tram stops, the U-bahn or underground and across the road is the ferry terminal that will take you to Bratislava if you so wish, if you don’t, you also have the choice of a cruise on the Danube canal or part of a cruise on the canal and a trip on the actual river Danube. Both cruises are approximately 1 hour 15 and are a nice way to see a bit more of the city.The bottom line with the Capricorno is that if you want Teutonic service you can receive that. But, if you prefer the home away from home approach, then this is also available. Nothing is too much trouble and that is worth its weight in gold.
