Location

The hotel is located in the 4th district, within a short walk from the State Opera House, the Künstlerhaus and the Belvedere. St. Stephan's Cathedral is within easy reach as well as other main attractions and shopping facilities of the city centre of Vienna. Vienna’s airport is around 15 km away and public transport is only a few metres away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1913. 21 single rooms and 63 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (for a fee) and a car park. Further services include a complimentary babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. Complimentary newspapers are available. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine. 3 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The hotel has 84 non-smoking rooms.

For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers cycling/mountain biking.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Dinner options include à la carte and a set menu.     Pleasant Stay in Good Area of Inner City

    Charming historical hotel that I surely recommend. I didn’t realize ahead of time that had been renovated but did upon arrival after seeing the room. I am a retired builder and mostly stay in historical hotels wherever we travel. This is not a grand style of a hotel, but it still has that pleasant historic feel with a wonderful restaurant, good staff, a pleasant room that’s comfortable and clean. The surroundings are pleasant and clean as well. Very convenient to groceries, dinning, and tram system. Literally 1/2 mile to the inner strand, less than 5 minutes to the Oprah House. I will strongly recommend this hotel and area of town, the Mozart Plaza, for other reasons as well. Vienna is not what you might expect for condition because unfortunately the city is grossly inundated with graffiti. In my opinion it has ruined the charm of most of Vienna ex for here.
