The hotel was built in 1898. The hotel has 3 suites, 9 apartments, 10 single rooms and 99 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Perfect location. Right near the city center. There is a lovely private parking lot just outside the door. I don't usually give a hotel a score of 10, but this one is well worth it. The breakfast is very extensive. We had a minor issue with the heating in our room and were immediately assisted by the very friendly György, who promptly assigned us a different room. We visit Vienna regularly, and this will certainly become our go-to hotel. Thank you, György and team!

    We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus for 5 nights in May.Location- perfect for walking to the historical centre (15-20 mins leisurely stroll) and very quiet, especially of an evening. Area felt extremely safe to walk around and lots of lovely cafes/ restaurants nearby.Staff & Service- so friendly and helpful. Especially the barman in Joe's bar who works Wed- Sun (didn't catch his name), but he gave us fantastic recommendations for areas to visit/ dine in. Also nice touches in the room such as the delicious truffles on arrival and the information on recommended restaurants etc.Cleanliness & Comfort- room was quite compact but a good size for us and spotless. Everything you need in a room- fridge, toiletries, hairdryer, kettle, coffee maker etc. Air conditioning was perfect. Amenities & Dining- we didn't actually try the breakfast but it smelt delicious each morning and seems to be popular with guests. Shops 5 minutes down the road to pick up any essentials. Would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully return one day!

    We stayed for 6 nights and everyone at the desk was helpful and hospitable. We needed the fireplace room for several meetings and the staff helped us by bringing water and glasses. They printed papers when we needed, they were always friendly. Breakfasts were wonderful! So many options, well stocked, fresh, and delicious!

    A hotel we truly recommend. Our stay was marked by fantastic service from start to finish, with staff who genuinely made a difference. In the reception, bar, and breakfast area we were met by friendly and knowledgeable staff, including for example Anna, Luca, George and Diana, all contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean and well maintained, with a clear sense of order. The hotel is located in a quiet area just outside central Vienna, offering both relaxation and easy access to the city’s vibrant center. With just a short walk to both the tram and subway, we had excellent access to all major attractions.Breakfast was of high quality, with tasty options and a pleasant setting to start the day. We also appreciated the proximity the interior garden and the local cafés and restaurants, making it easy to explore the neighborhood beyond the hotel.In summary: a hotel that delivers on every point — service, comfort, location, and quality. We would gladly return.
