    We came back from the opera house at 11pm and the key card to our hotel rooms didn’t work for several of us. There was literally nobody around to help. We rang the bell a few times. When we called the hotel, it went to the desk we were standing at, which was empty. We called out, but didn’t want to be too loud due to the late hour. Eventually we started looking through drawers for a master key. One of us wandered off to open random doors. 15 minutes or so later, a man shows up and he’s got an attitude problem. There is no apology or eagerness to help us, if anything he seemed annoyed. He also kept dropping keys, I think he dropped them 5 or 6 times! Thank god I was with a travel group, because I wouldn’t have known what to do if he hadn’t shown up. I could never ever recommend a place that doesn’t have staff available for emergencies, especially if that staff doesn’t care at all to make it right. They also didn’t do turn down service. Our room was untouched.

    We have just come back from a 3night stay. We were very pleasantly surprised by the stay. Everything was Perfect and the location was ideal. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    My husband and I stayed two nights at the Hotel Marc Aurel in Vienna this month and were very happy with it. The second night was a last minute request and they were very helpful and accommodating. It required a move to another room, but that was an easy matter. Both double rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location is very good, with a nice and plentiful selection of eating and shopping places within walking distance. It's not a luxurious hotel, but a comfortable, friendly one and somehow the one, slow elevator fits right in to the charm. Were we to return to Vienna, we'd definitely book this hotel again.

    A few changes would make all the difference! On a positive note it's in a great location and reasonably priced. However, a little more time spent on cleaning the bedrooms would be great. The bar could be opened in the evenings. A few more breakfast options would be great too.

    The room was basic , it would benefit with tea making facilities and a small fridge, the hotel needs to do something about the water out of a 5 day stay 3 of them was no hot water for a shower, no staff to advise, the washbasin was partially blocked and did manage to advise and that was cleared. The room had no hanging space for clothes, and just 2 shelves for clothes, lived out of suitcase because of this. The lift was scary , after selecting floor 2 it shuddered and descended to basement did this several times . Used the bar twice the 2nd time the man serving was quite rude, the vending machine did not take coins and asked him open and sell cans, he refused. I would not stay here again.
