Location

This hotel is located on Mariahilferstrasse, the oldest and longest shopping street in Vienna. From the hotel, guests have direct access to the underground system (line U3, entrance Neubaugasse, exit Stiftsgasse about 30 m away), with which it is possible to reach all parts of the city. In addition, it is only about 10 minutes to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hofburg palace. The famous St Stephen's Cathedral is a further 10 minutes, the West Station is 1 km away, and it is some 20 km to Vienna Airport.

Facility

17 rooms, including 3 single rooms and 12 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a mini fridge. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Other features include a direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge). Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

    Excellent location to city centre, very friendly front of house gentleman and breakfast ladies, missed not having tea& coffee facilities in the room, However the was mini bar in the room and we had a great view

    Exactly what was required. Stayed for 4 nights - 7 Dec 2025 arrival, departed 11 Dec. Location is excellent - a 15 walk to the Museum Quarter along Mariahilfestrasse and 5 minutes further to the Parliament, Town Hall and main Xmas Market. Neubau Metro Station is 2 minutes away.The place is clean, accessible and warm. The rooms have all you can reasonably expect. They are cleaned daily. George (reception) was first class as was the owner.Breakfast was varied - cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, all as expected, plus boiled eggs, and the coffee was good. There were other tea/infusion-type drinks too.WiFi was free and fast.No regrets at all about staying here and would do again.

    Just returned home yesterday after 4 nights in Hotel Pension Continental.Location is fantastic.Hotel was welcoming and clean.Breakfast is continental,meat cheeses,bread fruit.Lovely coffee.Definitely would recommend.Loved Vienna !

    We stayed here for 2 nights to explore the city of Vienna. Our first time here in Vienna. It is our third country to visit in our Europe city tour package. The hotel did not disappoint us. Good room and pleasant staff. Breakfast was continental which was okay (my husband and I both preferred cooked breakfast). The location is okay too. When we were there, we had to walk for a few miles to see attractions like The Hofburg and the Historic Centre of Vienna. We saw other attractions by using the hop on hop off bus tour. We got off to some places worth seeing like the Schonbrunn Palace and St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is good to see these places especially we only had a day to explore the city. The only thing I have noticed is this hotel is there is no kettle and tea or coffee in the room which would have been nice if there is one. However, saying that this hotel is surrounded with shops, restaurants and cafes.

    In the center, you can visit Vienna by walking.Only 20€/Parking for the complete Sunday/Monday in the protected parking 50m from the hotel.Nice breakfast, bread is fabulous.Not expensive 75€/night+breakfastNice welcoming of the staff.Tiberius is a very nice host, speaking all the languages needed ;-)The night was calm.With the lift, having luggages was not painfull.Simple room, nice sleeping.
