    This hotel is very good. Lovely breakfast, clean rooms with good beds. AC if you need it. Great views. The staff is very helpful. We really enjoyed the location in the small suburb of Baden near Vienna and found the drive to Vienna very reasonable and the value at this hotel very good. The town of Baden is also charming and worth exploring. Our family of 5 stayed in the Carl Sacher Suite which had plenty of room for us all and an upgraded bathroom. This is a good place to stay and we will be back again one day.

    A Charming Hotel in Lovely Baden

    Hotel Sacher Baden is located on the outskirts of Vienna's charming bedroom community Baden. The location is quiet and peaceful and within view of an abandoned castle ruin on a nearby hill. The setting is lovely and the hotel has all you will need for a stay in Baden. The rooms are fairly standard: basic, but clean and comfortable, and certainly affordable. The staff were helpful, but you probably won't require much assistance from them. There is free parking at the hotel and nearby.

    Initially I had booked one night at this hotel but I thought it was so good, I decided to stay the second weekend night here as well. The hotel is located amidst beautiful nature and it is very quiet, yet relatively close to Vienna, in case one wants to take a trip to the city. The best of both worlds really, close to a vibrant city, but at the same time serene. I found the price competitive, the parking is free and I used both the fitness room and the sauna, both very decent. I was mostly impressed by the flexibility and the professionalism of the Hungarian gentleman working at the reception, sorry I don't know his name but I'd like to pass my compliments on to him again. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and we thought it was well presented and tasy. Breakfast was very good too. Wonderful hotel with nice rooms, large bathrooms and well maintained interiors.

    It was perhaps the very worst New Year Holiday we have ever experienced.The hotel was okay as far as the bedroom was concerned and the staff were very good however a) food was poor b) there was no bar or lounge area c) the New Year celebrations were non existent d) the hotel at Baden was too far out of Vienna to be convenient.     Nice hotel but no atmosphere

    Came here for a New Year celebration - hotel is situated on edge the lovely town of Baden - whilst classed as a 4 Star Hotel, it lacked 4 Star service - the New Year was stated as a Gala evening - there was no atmosphere, no entertainment, no bar, no fireworks and little staff - highly disappointing night, it seemed the hotel did not care or had any interest in giving its predominantly British guests a New Year to remember - food was not 4 Star standard and not offered much choice - staff was friendly but did not feel welcome - okay hotel but not really 4 Star
