Location

Taborstrasse always had a special significance as an access road to the imperial city of Vienna. To this day, the neighbourhood is a good starting point for visitors to Vienna. Most major sites can be quickly and easily reached by foot from the hotel along with public transport, shops, restaurants and bars. St. Stephan's Cathedral is only a short walk away from the hotel and Vienna’s airport lies around 14 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 42 single rooms and 78 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a page service. Rooms

    Hotel Stefanie is a gem. It is charming, clean, and the staff is impeccable. It is a historic hotel and the most recent renovation was done with great taste and high quality. The elegance of times past is visible everywhere in the beautiful selection of antique pieces in the public areas which ones passes through to reach the lovely breakfast dining room where an excellent array of choices awaits you— from fresh baked goods to bacon and eggs, fresh fruit and more. The location is also excellent. Lots of tram, bus and subway options very nearby. Or it’s a pleasant walk across the bridge to reach the main cultural sites and shopping. It’s also a quiet area, so with the comfy beds and ability to open the window, I slept like a babe. Highly recommend. Would stay again. Great value.

    The oldest hotel in Vienna is really stylishly old. It's wonderfully decorated. It has everything you would expect from such a hotel, including a bonbon on the pillow. And they have a library, which scores points in my book. Have a look around. It's worth it.The only minor point: the room was too warm for my liking.
