  Hotel Viktoria is in an excellent location, a short walk to the Hietzing ubahn station and trams and buses. The hotel is extremely clean! Staff is super friendly and good strong wi-fi signal which was great for booking tickets and such. Beds were large, sturdy and comfortable. Daily service in the rooms with fresh towels. Bathroom tub was huge! My six foot tall son was able to stretch out in it. Elevator on the property which I appreciated. Close to schonbrunn palace and zoo, shops and restaurants.   No AC and no proper ventilation in the room. Not good during the summer months.

  I was there on June 14 and 15, with my family, that week the weather temperature was very high( 91 degree) and the room was very warm. They gave us a fan but with no air, still very warm. We couldn't sleep at all. we felt that, we are being tortured. Finally ,I opened the window a little and we got hundreds of big ants flying in side of the room. Next day I asked the lady at the desk for a room with AC. She kind of ignored me then she said this hotel is a old hotel and we don't have any AC. She was not friendly at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

  A cold, dirty and sorry place

  Hotel Viktoria looks quite nice on the photos, and the exterior / lobby area of the hotel is quite welcoming. After you have ventured inside, quality starts to deteriorate, and when you get to the rooms, you feel like being at a student hostel or something. (with the proper price range of a regular hotel, of course).Our room was cold, I was freezing. The old radiator was simply not enough to provide heat. And the dirt, oh my god the dirt. The TV remote was so slimy, just filled with layers of dirt between the buttons, having the memoirs of a million hands before. We had to wrap a handkerchief around it to use it. In the closet, we have found a couple of the previous tenant's clothes, and under the bed, the jackpot: some used make-up, an extra dirty glass, and a whole chocolate bar, which was only half eaten! :)

  We stayed in the hotel for four nights and had a nice stay. The hotel is very well located (2 mins walk to the U Bahn and Schloss Schönbrunn) and the beds are really comfortable! Our room (2 double beds) had enough space for the three of us and our luggage, the bathroom was a bit small but sufficient.The room was fine, although there were a couple things which could be better. Our room was in the basement and the window could only be opened a few centimeters, so we felt there was bad air flow through the room and this meant we didn’t sleep all that well. This could be improved by staff ventilating the room when they clean it each day. Also only one sachet of ‘3 in 1 coffee’ (coffee, milk, sugar) was provided which tasted awful and doesn’t suit those who don’t like sugar in coffee. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel because the bakery at the U Bahn and cafe oberlaa nearby was great.We’d stay again :) hotelviktoria, Manager at Hotel Viktoria, responded to this review Dear Guest,thank you very much for taking the time to write feedback about your stay in our hotel.   rude personnel

  I have been staying in Viktoria hotel for two days. The personnel especially at the reception has been very rude and doesn’t speak good English or pretends not to understand. Today I wanted the breakfast in my room because I was sick, they send me the breakfast without fork and knife and they told me to eat like this, also they did not send me coffee or tea with the breakfast and they told me to have water from the tip and boil it in the cattle. I was shocked by their behaviour. There was a nice lady near the reception and she told the woman not to take money for breakfast when I told her what happened, I think they don’t like foreigners and try to insult them. There are many orher things about the receptionist woman but it would be too long to tell. Consider before choosing to come to this hotel especially if you are from another country.
