    The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help, making our stay really comfortable. The place was spotless and roomy. Can’t wait to come back here next time I'm in Vienna! Everything went smoothly, no issues at all. Plus, it was so easy to get around with the metro station nearby, and the breakfast was fantastic. Definitely recommend!

    Traveled with a group of students in June. Arrival was terrible with us standing along the sidewalk while they insisted on making copies of everyone’s passport. The check in person was rude and shouted at us. Then we were 21 people trying to use and elevator that took 2 people at a time. No balcony in our room but when the windows were open a group was outside smoking a talking every evening. Room was very hot and small. Bathroom was nice. Room was clean but very old. Breakfast was so so, but the staff there was very nice. Area seemed a bit sketchy too.

    Good: value for price,;helpful, knowledgable and friendly staff (kitchen, check-in, breakfast—everyone); small but very functional and comfortable room; comfortable bed; good high-pressure hot water,;old solid oak doors and high ceilings; very clean and well-maintained (everything worked); great restaurants (Retsina, Lindberg, etc.) in the neighborhoodBad: Internet was unusable from my room; duplicate EMail requests from hotel to fill out pre-checkin information; no restaurant beyond breakfast (but see above); expensive and blaisé breakfast and coffee (this is Vienna, for gosh sakes!); small stairway up from street-level entrance (a slight challenge for handicap accessibility, for example)Verdict: I'll certainly book here again on my next Vienna trip.
