This luxury hotel is centrally located on the famous Ringstraße and opposite the Opera and the Hofburg. The big shopping avenues, the historic sights of interest and the museum quarter are all just a few minutes walk away. Karlsplatz (line U1) is the closest underground station (500 m away) and Vienna's airport is approximately 15 km away.

Facility

25 suites, 97 single rooms and 172 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms.     Awful hotel in a excellent location,beware!!!!

    Shameful to call this worn-out building a luxury hotel!! Photos did not even match the room in reality.A waste to have in a good location a place like this!Should be demolished ! Got a room At the end of the hotel with a broken bed and an empty fridge, with a view that remind a prison, and a bathroom without amenities that was outdated already 40 years ago! Begging to an unhelpful girl at the reception for other room (out of the 300 in the hotel) didn’t help, and since it was prepaid, didn’t have another choice than staying..Never ever will go back there, and be warned the pictures and a nice text don’t affect the reality.!Old and outdated rooms with a broken bed and the layout of the 50sNoteworthy details-Don’t ever go there!!! Many great hotels in the area, even the one next-door

    Amazing hotel and room! Junior suite possibly one of the best hotel rooms we've ever stayed in - large, modern - big double bathroom. Restaurant and bar wonderful atmosphere. Great location for museums and hofburg. Loved it. Pity our visit was only for 2-nights. Would have loved to had more time to relax in hotel. Already discussing returning to Vienna and Le Meridien for a longer period to enjoy the hotel even more!     We stayed at Le Méridien for three nights to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday, having booked a superior city-view room five months in advance. As it was a special occasion, the hotel kindly gave us what they described as the best room in the category we had reserved, but unfortunately we found it rather disappointing.Although the room was likely the advertised 30 square metres, a large portion of the space was taken up by an oversized bathroom, which made the bedroom area feel much smaller than expected. The city view was pleasant enough (through windows in need of cleaning), but nowhere near as impressive as the photos suggested. The furnishings and overall finish also felt somewhat cheap and below the standard you would normally expect from a five-star hotel—something we had previously experienced at a Marriott Convoy in New York City.The exterior of the hotel suggests traditional architecture, but our room was in a modern part in the back with low ceilings, contrary to what we expected based on the photos of the hotel.The hotel also offered complimentary drinks on days when housekeeping was declined. We chose to make use of this, only to discover that the offer applied to a very limited drinks menu, meaning we still had to pay for what we ordered.That said, the location is excellent, and the staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, however, we felt the experience did not justify a return visit.     Delightful stay in Innere Stadt

    Delightful experience at Le Meridien Vienna. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed openly and was taken aback by this fantastic hotel.The lady at reception was pleasant, friendly and professional, checking me in swiftly. My German language skills are not upto scratch and she conversed with me in perfect English. I had a room upgrade, which was lovely. The room was large and airy with a double bed (two single beds pushed together, but with a double mattress topper, so you are none the wiser) which was so so comfortable. Large flat screen tv, great coffee machine, with heaps of different strength pods and writing desk for the business traveller. The room also had an iron and ironing board, cleverly hidden within the mirror.The bathroom was large and had lots of natural light. A fantastic walk in shower and a bath were both present.The hotel had a bar/restaurant, which I ate at. Food was pricey, but very tasty. Service was great. I had breakfast at the hotel which was a huge buffet with a wide range of food.The entire hotel was sparkling and clean, with not a speck of dust visible.I had asked for a room facing the rear, as a light sleeper, and was never disturbed during the night. The hotel is in the Innere Stadt right on the Ringstrasse. A number of historic attractions are a short walk away. The area also has a number of excellent bars and restaurants.Staying in the Innere Stadt in Vienna is certainly not cheap, but Le Meridien is an excellent option.     Excellent location, easy to access all landmarks and restaurants. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Any requests we had were taken care of immediately.
