Location

The hotel is located adjacent to the famous Raimund Theatre, close to the international railway station and Vienna's biggest shopping street, Mariahilferstrasse. There are 3 underground stations in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, all providing good connections to the main sightseeing attractions. A selection of restaurants is around 300 m away and various bars and nightspots are about a 25-minute walk from the hotel. The city centre is just a 10-minute drive away and Vienna - Schwechat Airport is some 25 km away.

Facility

5 apartments and 72 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a library.     Great base for a 4-night stay in Vienna

    I stayed at Mercure Raphael Wien for 4 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel has an excellent location – in a quiet neighborhood, yet very close to public transport, which makes it an ideal base for exploring Vienna. Shops and everyday conveniences are also nearby, which adds to the comfort of the stay.The rooms were clean and tidy, though a small renovation would be welcome to freshen up the interiors. Despite this, everything was comfortable and well kept.Overall, a very good choice for a short city break and I would recommend it especially for sightseeing-focused stays.

    Well placed hotel for public transport and shopping. Modern, simple, reasonable sized room, theatre accross the street. Good option for a stay in Vienns. On the down side my UV light suggested the cleaning could have been better and the restaurant/bar was open at breakfast but I never saw it open at other times. The staff were excellent and very accomodating. I would use the hotel again for an extended stay.

    This is a very bad hotel.An employee stole my friend’s glasses. We contacted the hotel staff immediately, but on the first day they said there were no security cameras. On the second day, they claimed there were cameras, but that the footage was not visible.We also tried to contact the manager, but the manager never replied to our email. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.I strongly warn everyone to be careful and not to stay at this hotel.We are extremely dissatisfied.👎👎👎👎

    We stayed at this hotel during Advent. The location was quite convenient – close to the city center and easy to reach by car. Our room was fairly spacious, modern, and clean. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint either. For our purpose of spending the whole day exploring the city, it was perfectly fine.
