    Cool vibes! Cosy airport hotel

    A clean, friendly space with a contemporary feel and totally selfie-worthy. The MOXY in Vienna is efficient. I stayed on the top floor and got a fantastic view of the airport runway from my bedroom window. A short 9 minute walk to the terminal too.

    Let’s be honest, this hotel trades in being “on site” for the airport. And the 10 minute walk from terminal to hotel can’t be beat! However, shouldn’t take > 10 minutes to check in once arriving at the hotel. Staff seemed overwhelmed and simply “going through the motions.” Room met needs for the overnight connection. Clean, functional.     Not quiet the typical Marriott Moxy experience for me. There was a line for check-in but the staff was friendly, efficient and worked as quickly as possible to take care of all customers. I received the key to my room (611) went inside and was immediately hit with a blast of heat. The heat was on in the room and the recorded temperature was 28.5! I immediately turned it off and tried to bring the room temperature down by turning on the fan, however it only produced more warm air. My only choice was to open the window, but it only tilted out at the very top so not much air was getting in. Unfortunately, leaving the window open meant listening to the traffic and airport noise all night. Not good. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bathroom was small but adequate, and the wifi worked well. I decided to go down to the lobby to take advantage of the free welcome drink which was nice. I decided to buy a bite to eat and found the basic panni was a pricey 12 euros! Since there really isn't any restaurants close by once you leave the airport, there were no other food options.I went back to my room to get some sleep for my early flight and the temperature never went below 25 C all night, even with the window opened, That temperature is much too warm for me to sleep comfortably, so needless to say I didn't get much sleep. The hotel is a great option if you have a late night arrival or early morning departure. Its a short 7-10 minute walk thru the airport corridors that take you right to the hotel entrance. However, for me, the fact that I could not control the temperature in my room made my short stay uncomfortable. Therefore, it's just average, especially compared to other Moxy's I have visited.

    Great option for early flights

    We had an overnight layover in Vienna. We booked this hotel due to proximity to airport for our early flight. Everything was great! Basic room but fit our needs. Very clean and very nice staff. We appreciated the crockpot meal option after a nearly 11 hour flight. Highly recommend!

    I am regular traveller, stayed at the moxy in different countries they are the same to some extent but what made this time stay at the moxy sowcial was one of the receptionist who was extremely helpful and friendly, guided me how to visit christmas market and offered me some Persian restaurants. I usually don‘t write review but now just want to thank her for her smily face even early in the morning :) Thank you Mashid hope to be able to see you again one day.
