    Great hotel. No complaints!!! Very modern buildings, great appliances, good bed.     A very convenient hotel

    We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are little congested for 4 people but has good amenities like locker, TV, dryer etc. The best part is the location as it is just 1 min walkable distance from Vienna central station. You also get to use their gym and spa facilities. There is restaurant as well in the hotel. Overall satisfied.     The worst customer experience ever!

    I booked five rooms for a small group of friends, and I am still shocked by what happened during our check-in.We arrived at around 23:50, after having already sent all passports and room allocations in advance to make the check-in process smooth. Unfortunately, the experience at reception was extremely disappointing. The staff member on duty was rude and unprofessional from the start, even complaining about my surname. Despite my explanation that I have multiple last names, she seemed unwilling to understand or assist.As a Silver member of the Accor loyalty programme, I expected at least a basic level of recognition, especially since my membership details were clearly visible in the app. This was completely ignored.I also politely requested a twin room instead of a double, but she refused outright, stating that rooms were already assigned and adding dismissively that she did not work in the reservations department. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, which I found particularly concerning from a customer service standpoint.Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. As a frequent traveller, I have always considered Accor my preferred choice, but this incident has made me seriously reconsider. I cannot recommend this hotel based on the level of service we received.This lady at reception should reconsider her career as customer service is definitely not her strength mirroring her amateur attitude to Novotel.     Weekend in Vienna

    Spent two nights here in late March as part of a weekend trip to Vienna. Our inbound flight was delayed, so we went first for dinner at a restaurant we had prebooked, and arrived at the hotel around 11pm. After a short wait we were checked in and given the keys to our room.The room was on the 4th floor and had good views over the city. One slight concern on arrival was that there was a connecting door to the next door room (we hate this in hotels), but thankfully it appeared to be unoccupied during our stay and there was no resulting disturbance. The room itself was spacious, with ample clothes storage space, a safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. It also had a high-spec TV with a wide range of channels and good quality wi-fi. The bathroom had a powerful shower and lots of space to store toiletries. We were staying on a room only basis, so ate out during our stay. The very impressive Hautbahnhof is only 5 minutes walk away, and has a wide range of restaurants and shops. It is also very well connected to the rest of the city, with U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines linking quickly to the main tourist sites.Given our short time in Vienna we did not spend that much time in the hotel, but my partner made use of the spa which again had good views of the city and he was very impressed with. Overall this was a good place to stay during our visit to Vienna. Whilst it is located away from the city centre the excellent transport links mean this is not an issue and it offers good value for money.     Well located, but falls short of 4-star expectations

    I stayed at this hotel in March 2026 for 7 nights. Overall, the experience was not bad, but it fell short of what I would expect from a 4-star hotel.On the positive side, the location is very convenient, right next to the train station and within walking distance of the Belvedere Palace. The gym is well equipped, and the wellness area on a higher floor offers a very nice view.However, the hotel struggles with the basics. There was no mini-fridge in the room (even though the furniture space for it is still there), and no bottled water provided—both explained as “sustainability” measures (they told us to use the tap water instead). While understandable in principle, this reduces comfort and does not feel aligned with a 4-star standard.Bathroom amenities were limited to large refillable containers attached to the wall, and they were not properly maintained—we had to request refills after they ran out.The room condition also needs attention. Curtains were too short to block sunlight, making it difficult to sleep in the morning (photos), and despite reporting it, nothing was done. One curtain had noticeable holes, and the carpet had visible stains. A bedside lamp was not working initially, although this was fixed after reporting.At the coffee bar, prices were quite high (e.g., €5.20 for a latte), and I was overcharged once and had to request a correction.Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, and we often had to rely on our mobile data instead.Another surprising point: umbrellas are not offered as a courtesy during rainy days—they are rented, which feels unusual for this category of hotel.In summary, while the hotel has strong points like location, gym, and views, it misses on several basic aspects that are expected from a 4-star experience. With some improvements in maintenance and guest amenities, it could better match its category.
