    The positives...The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is situated in a good location across from a Xmas market if you a traveling in the next few weeks.The negatives....I would not say this is a 4 star hotel, it's more like a glorified hostel. There's no bar or nowhere to chill out,the room was clean but just drab,the bed was a single bed that was tiny (and I'm not a tall person). I was on the same floor as reception and anytime anyone moved it vibrated through the room or done anything in the kitchen it could be heard ...Again none of this was the staffs fault it's just the hotel, I definitely think you could get better and definitely for cheaper as it was expensive.Almost forgot ...the radiator is right in front of the toilet and only a few inches away so unless you want burnt knees you have to sit sideways 🙈...I was travelling with a group and we all had the same experiences from different rooms.

    Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

    The hotel is in an excellent location—safe, quiet, and close to public transport. The reception staff were very helpful and polite, making check-in and stay seamless. The room was spotless and comfortable. It would be nice to have coffee capsules and bottled water available in the room, perhaps as a mini-bar option. Overall, a very pleasant stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Vienna.

    An expensive hotel not worth the money

    This hotel, with vast rooms as expected in an old establishment, is overpriced given the condition of our room. There was no kettle etc to make a cup of tea in the room. The main criticism however was that the curtains, to windows facing the morning sun, simply did not fit together, as is even suggested in the photo used as an advertisement. This meant one woke at dawn and could also be seen by anyone in the street looking up if one thoughtlessly dressed close to them. A really basic error to have utterly inadequate curtains!

    This hotel is unassuming from the outside, but we were surprised when we got to our room. It has a romantic vibe to it and clean. The location is good as we only have to walk to some of the attractions that we want to visit. The tram is also nearby and it is only a minute walk to our favorite Italian restaurant, Via Toledo.

    The room is very nice, very elegantly decorated. We love the fact that it is a walking distance to a lot of places we wanted to visit. Lots of restaurants nearby. We also love our room that we can just look outside our window and just people watch. The only thing I didn't like is that we have to go downstairs to get our coffee and or tea and we have to pay for it. No free coffee?! This is supposed to be Vienna and is famous for their great coffee but aside from that, a very good experience.
