    Simple hotel perfect for a cheap getaway. Located right next to a tram stop which is ideal for getting into the city, also able to walk to a few good locations from the hotel. Just be careful as the lift is currently not working so it is two flights of stairs up incase this affects you. Otherwise very clean bathroom and loads of space for storing clothes in bedroom

    Stayed for one night with family. Overall the stay was ok. The front and entrance to the hotel is very off putting. Room clean. Location good. Staff friendlyHotel is tired, threadbare mismatched towels and rust on the shower shelving was just some of the things I noticed.

    I'm giving the "hotel" 4 stars due to lovely staff, wonderful location, cleanliness of the room and the sheer size of the living space. I booked a triple room not realizing that the rooms are actually apartments. Ours had a double bed with a sleeper sofa which was fine. It had a large fan which worked well and had an equipped kitchen although the fridge didn't have a freezer section. It kept our food cool enough but not very cold. The bathroom was huge with a large tub and a separate shower. The there was a working hairdrier as well. The air conditioner worked but dripped a bit near the end of our visit--we told the staff upon checking out and they noted info for it to be looked into. The apartments are not luxury but basic, comfortable enough and the location is unbeatable. With windows closed for A/C we did not notice any street noise. I would definitely return due to economic price.

    location is the only thing deserving 4 stars, close to the ring (Schottentor), 10-20 minutes to several attractions, old town (insie the ring) and the university, lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity, tram and U-bahn closeby. the rest of the hotel maybe deserves 3 stars - which is just ok for us, just to let other, maybe more demanding travellers know. Clean enough, with garage below the hotel for 15€ per night, and decent breakfast. The reception is on the 2nd floor, but there is a lift. have read some quite bad reviews regarding the poorly kept rooms - but we have been lucky to get a decent one (22), close to the reception and breakfast room. a girl at the reception did not speak english enough to be able so explain how the garage functions and where it is - so she went with me downstairs and showed me - so no complaint really; also other staff have maybe been a bit reserved, but still kind enough and helpful. Maybe we have been missing kettle to boil the watter / prepare a coffee in the room.

    Reasonable hotel in an expensive city with good location and nice breakfast

    I feared the worst after reading some reviews on here, but the hotel was fine. A good location, large clean room, plentiful buffet breakfast and staff who were appt to answer questions. Vienna is an expensive city so you have to accept that or not go. My major negative would be the hotel is noisy as on a team route but that’s obvious from the map and has its benefits too.
