This business design hotel is nestled in the heart of one of Europe's leading cultural capitals, close to Vienna's most exciting upmarket retail and fashion quarter and the world-famous Café Central. Vienna International Airport is located approximately 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1912. The hotel has 78 rooms, including 11 junior suites, 6 suites and 60 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. 2 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including golf, a gym, aerobics, a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and massage treatments. An entertainment programme and live music are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar.     Beware moldy and stained areas.

    It takes a lot for me to sit down and write a review. To say our three night stay at this hotel was disappointing would be a huge understatement. I emailed in advance of our arrival to confirm a few details and did not receive a reply. I mentioned this at check-in and it was shrugged off. Front desk staff were brusque throughout our stay. There is a reason the lights in the common area are kept low and it's not for ambience. Common areas smelled moldy and appeared unclean. In our room, one duvet was yellow and stained; bath towels were stained and the carpeting was dirty. We stayed at Radisson throughout our European holiday and this one in Vienna was below standard. We witnessed front desk staff speaking rudely to guests. What a disappointment for our time in such a beautiful city!     Rooms on top floor are a bit smaller, but same price

    The location of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is very good, there is no great variety but everything is of excellent quality. The reason i don't rate my experience as excellent is that the room i was given, on the top floor (6th floor) was much different than the photos. The ceiling was low and the walls were rounded, so the total available space was noticeable less than the space as shown in the photos. I wouldn't mind if i was informed about this from before i made the booking or if i was offered a discount. It was sn unpleasant suprise.     Excellent for NYE

    We were there for NYE. The hotel is in an excellent location. Perfect for the NYE celebrations all over the city center. Extremely safe location and central to everything. The room and bed were nice and sleep well. My only complaint is the room was extremely hot, I was on the top floor so perhaps that contributed. It was the end of December and we had to keep the window open just to keep the temperature at a comfortable level. And the noise from the elevator machinery was loud and again that could be because we were on the top floor near the elevator and overhead machinery. But it wasn't being used all night long so no issues later in the sleep.
