This elegant hotel has been family-run since 1931 and enjoys a fabulous peaceful location directly beside St. Stephen's cathedral in the heart of Vienna. The shopping streets of Graben, Kärntner Straße and Kohlmarkt are to be found close by and the hotel's central situation mean that it is an ideal starting point for those wishing to explore the Austrian capital as well as spend a pleasant evening at the nearby theatre or opera house. An underground station lies directly before the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 88 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garage is available for parking (for a fee). Further services include a car hire service, a transfer service, an alarm call service and a hotel shuttle bus. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

    Just home from 4 day city break, the location was amazing. Cathedral in centre behind us and so many places to visit walkable. Try a cake next door, we ate at the hotel Italian restaurant it was classy.Breakfast was included and so much choice.Recommend the Spanish horse riding tour and we caught tube and tram to visit the Danube and then a palace, book your tickets on app all day cheaper option.We got train from airport easy and get the red trains so much cheaper than the green ones.Hotel staff were so helpful and kind, I loved it.

    The hotel is perfectly situated, featuring spacious rooms with all the essential facilities and a wonderful breakfast. Having chosen this hotel for the third time says it all.

    Great hotel near St. Stephen's Cathedral

    A great hotel in the center near St. Stephen's Cathedral. The room was large and great. The staff was great and very helpful. The only reason why I took away half the star is because the AC/heater did not work and the hallway smelled like smoking. But if I ever go to Vienna again, I would stay there again.

    Great Hotel: One Exception

    The location was excellent! The rooftop bar was a highlight of our stay. The view onto the cathedral was spectacular, the bar playlist was great, and the drinks were well made. The only exception to this wonderful stay was that our room lacked some basic amenities. For example, there was no body wash or hair wash provided, so we had to go purchase our own on the town. It appeared that there were containers that were meant to be filled with these goods, however, they were empty. Definitely disappointing after such a wonderful visit in the whole.     Fantastic location , a few metres from St Stephansplatz square and the pedestrian street with all the amazing shops. Metro nearby also. Party of 8 people. Taxi from airport about €15 per person. Hotel lovely and staff absolutely brilliant, so helpful and friendly , nothing was any bother. Also porters available and luggage kept if a late departure. Hotel can arrange taxi also on departure journey. Lunch deal in the hotel restaurant was well worth the €14 for two courses. H&M shop worth a visit just to see the original shop wood fittings and fixtures. A must is also Trzesniewski ( almost next door) to try the miniature beer and individual small open sandwich.
