Location

Quietly situated, this hotel is to be found in the heart of Vienna directly by the park of a French secondary school, not far from the most varied of sights such as Lichtenstein Palace, Votivkirche and St. Stephen's Cathedral. The ring road can be reached in 5 minutes on foot, as can the closest underground station, Schottentor, and the opera. The Hofburg Imperial Palace (1 km) and Westbahnhof (the train station) (5 km) also lie nearby.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1850. 68 rooms, including 10 single rooms and 20 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     From start to finish it has been a great experience. Very warm welcome, extremely helpful from the start till the end. Nice suite spacious with comfortable bed and all the amenities. One small remark would be that the shower is in the bathtub) . Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Very quiet neighbourhood but easy to reach all the Vienna hotspots. Search no longer , book at The Harmonie.

    It’s hard to fault the Harmonie… it got everything right for us. The room was a good size and completely silent. Even with the window open it was quiet. The AirCon was powerful - I suspect it could easily handle a heatwave. Breakfast was great - not the biggest selection, but more than enough fruit, cheese, bread, hot dishes, etc. Plus plenty of premium things too - sparkling wine, salmon, kombucha, daily cake. The sligh downside is location… it’s 10 mins from the U-bang, though there’s a very convient 40A bus if you’d rather not walk.

    Our children booked us flights to Vienna as a Christmas present and we spent some time researching hotels before booking here. It was an amazing choice!Such a beautiful boutique hotel that felt more like a home. It was spotlessly clean.There were so many personal touches especially the ballet theme that ran through the hotel.Located on a quiet side street with easy access to the Old Town and near to bus, tram and metro lines.Breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea were excellent.Our room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable.Vienna far exceeded my expectations and we will definitely return and would not consider staying anywhere else.Finally and most importantly the staff. There were all very professional and welcoming.The front desk staff were always happy to assist with our daily travel plans and booking restaurants. They provided us with specially printed maps of the area and city which were very helpful.Thank you for looking after us Bettina, Sarolta, Charlotte, Claudio, Manuel and Jan.

    Everything was wonderful about the Harmonie. Public transport facilitates easy access from the centre, warm and helpful welcome, superb room and located in a pleasant part of the city. Public areas are smart and comfortable, staff are personable and professional, and we enjoyed the excellent breakfasts. Although the Harmonie is affiliated to the Best Western group, it feels ( in a very positive way ) like a very well run hotel with a character of its own. We loved our stay here.     Wonderful stay

    We enjoyed our stay at the Harmonie from arriving when we were greeted warmly, learned our room was ready (we had only planned to drop off our luggage) and given a packet of information on what to do in Vienna. The next day after a lovely breakfast we purchased transit tickets from the hotel, asked for directions to the nearest tram stop and we were off. The hotel even gave up a breakfast bag as we were leaving for the airport at the ungodly hour of 3:15. So location is good, staff is lovely, room is comfortable, breakfast was nice. What's not to like?
