Location

This luxury hotel is centrally located opposite the city park on the famous Ringstraße. Sights of interest such as St. Stephen's Cathedral, the state opera house as well as museums and splendid shopping avenues are all just a few minutes walk away. Stubentor on the U3 is the closest underground station and lies about 200 m away and a tram stops right in front of the hotel.

Facility

38 suites, 149 single rooms and 147 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests will also find slippers in their rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Some of the wheelchair-friendly rooms have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers cycling/mountain biking.     Not the greatest or kindest service I have encountered as a Titanium Elite member.

    My room had bugs in it and I believe they may have been bedbugs. When I showed the management pictures of the bedding which are consistent with bedbugs, they did change my room and the bites stopped upon changing to the new room. I had sent a few pieces of laundry down that were on the bed or on the floor and they charged me over $100 to clean them. I questioned this and they refused to pay for it. Whether or not there were bedbugs they should have paid for it. As a titanium elite member I expect better.     Perfect hotel

    A perfect hotel for us. We had a lovely room with an enormous comfortable bed. Very clean. The hotel reception is large leading to a really nice seating area and bar. Lovely cake shop in this area which we indulged in several times. The staff are excellent, the maitre really has his finger on the pulse, works so hard. The breakfast has a vast selection so suit all. At the front of the hotel is the Champions bar, showing sports on large tv’s. Really popular. We ate here on several nights, particularly enjoying the steak and the schnitzel burger. Service was very good. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The tram stops right in front of the hotel, but you can walk into the city centre in just a few minutes. Also used the business centre, but we didn’t really know how to check into our flight home, (old people) so the concierge helped. Nothing too much trouble. We also booked a taxi to the airport, they said it would be 42 euros, but beware the taxi charged an additional 18 euros for the suitcases, totalling 60 euros. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in booking for a further visit.     Amazing stay

    It was such a nice short stay. I didn't want to leave. Everything was perfect. Locations is central. The suite we stayed in was amazing and the view of the gardens was breathtaking. Breakfast variety was great. I owe special thanks to Mr. Ahmed, who made our stay so pleasant. He was so helpful in every way. I highly recommend this hotel.     Fantastic stay in the heart of the city

    Very much enjoyed our stay here. Location is super convenient to all of the sights, and also several options for lunch/dinner on site. Breakfast on Sunday morning was fantastic- the M Club was closed so we were given complimentary breakfast here and it was the best one of the week. I will be sorely disappointed to be home and not have Marriott sparking wine for breakfast as an option!The pool is nice and there is a female-only sauna. I couldn't understand if the attendant said the sauna was "clothing free" or "phone free," but it was empty and very nice to warm up after a day on the rainy streets.We have had platinum elite status for over a year but my husband has yet to stay in a Marriott with an M Club. The location was beautiful, there was a great breakfast spread out the morning we arrived, and "small plates" in the evening was actually a full spread for dinner, plus complimentary wine and beer. I am grateful that we were allowed to check in early, it allowed us to get a nap after not sleeping on our redeye flight. Staff were wonderful. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
