  Central but horrible

  Very bad experience: very dirty (the kettle stank horribly and we found trash of the previous guests behind the tv), very umcomfortable bed squeezed against a wall, loud bath fan, bed lamp didn't work, none to welcomed me. Yes, it's central, but it's awful too.

  We stayed 4 nights in the hotel around Christmas (the Rockstar bedroom).We arrived around 19h. There was no reception but a system to get the key to our place.We were surprised to find an appartement (no kitchen) and not an hotel as mentionned on the name.The place itself was big (living room, bedroom, large bathroom). Location is not so far from the city center but you still have to walk like 20-25min.Breakfast Is served the evening before and left inside if you are not there. Poor quantity and quality, specially the first morning. We called right away to complain and someone was supposed to come and change the moldy cheese but no one came in the end. The following days we had a little bit more but nothing like seen on the hotel pictures.In general, the place was not so clean either (the bathroom radiator was super dusty, the couch was super filthy and with suspicious stains.Bedroom was okay except for the pillows that looked quite old and were not comfortable at all.

  There is not much happening around where the hotel is but not too far from the center of Vienna 2 minutes perhaps, but after staying at 4 different hotels would recommend going to a larger hotel a little further away that has offers on and you get a better quality hotel.So the reception is a little box room as you enter,The front door was always open day and night, and our room opened onto the little passageway inside, so didn’t feel as safe.The photos must have been taken several years ago when it had been decorated as its in need of a refresh and new furniture too.No aircon,The bathroom was the only thing that looked well done, but the rooms were clean.There was a kettle and a capsules coffee maker, included was 2 coffee capsules, 1 fruit tea and 1 sugar seemed odd.The floor was cheap click clack and very scratched, table burn mark, bed holes in the bottom board , wall dirty, and mirror so black from dampness.

  This hotel is great for a short stay.I stayed in the Klimt room, it was clean, light and large.The location is also great - close to the station, on the tour bus route if you have time, very close to Augarten which which is worth visiting and the river.

  Everything was booked out and super expensive in Vienna so had to stay in a different location than usual and discovered vox hotel. It was nicely located and staff was super friendly and nice so the reception closing at 18/00 is not a problem. Room was ok. However, I truly think that for 154 a night breakfast should be included and it would be good that the hotel makes a dealWith a cafe nearby! Otherwise all was ok!
