    The only good thing about this hotel is the location next to Fountain Square and the included parking. Furthermore the hotel is old, tired, ill maintained, dirty and hardly deserves one star. The four stars came through corruption which is everywhere in this country. The first room on the backside of the hotel on the third floor was so bad that we got another room on the fourth floor. That was probably the suite of the hotel. This room has the view on Fountain Square, but the floor moves as if the beams are broken/rotten. The bathroom smelled and actually nothing is clean or new. The chair in the room had a loose leg en de bedside lamps almost fell apart. For the last night we had to move to another room. Again on the third floor (305), but on the frontside of the hotel. This room had a terrible sqeaking bed with worn out matrasses and an ill maintained bathroom. Breakfast in this hotel is of no any standard. very little choice, blue boiled eggs, products from the day(s) before (not fresh). The elevator didn't work a couple of times, so going up and down by stairs. The hotel staff hardly speaks English. If you don't care about the place to sleep, but want a perfect location in Baku choose this hotel, but if you care just a little about the accommodation: find another hotel !!

    Nice little hotel just off the fountain square district and only a short walk from the old city and the F1 general admission gate. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the local vicinity. Taxi rank just 50 yards away.The one small elevator was unpredictable and a dead-loss during popular checkout times. Talking to others in the party, the rooms are quite variable in quality. Mine was OK with a decent shower and comfortable bed, but I really hate to think what could have stained the carpet so badly (see photo).

    The hotel is situated at the edge of Fountain Square which is very convenient in visiting both the old and new Baku. The entrance of the hotel is on the small alley and isn't directly facing the Fountain Square so I was lost trying to find the hotel at the beginning. The room was spacious with very high ceiling.I booked direct from the hotel website and was quoted 95 AZN per night for a standard double room with breakfast. The price quoted was the price paid in cash and it would be more expensive to pay by credit card. The staff were all helpful and accommodated. They let me check in to our room as early as 9AM. The breakfast was good and plenty. It was very good that the hotel served breakfast very early in Azerbaijani standard(from 6.30-7 AM if my memory is right).Azcot hotel is not a luxurious hotel but it is a good hotel with charm and good service. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone:-)

    Best thing is Azcot hotel located closed to Nizami street which is largest walking street & one of the happening place in Baku. 4 star hotel with friendly staffs. Their breakfast is good. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Room cleaning available daily. Laundry services and call facility available by paying reasonable amount.

    The Azcot is located right at the corner of Fountain Square, with all its cafés/bars, restaurants and shopping and is only a couple of minutes walk from the old city. Rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet has a wide range of foods, including about 4 different types of eggs. The TV service was rubbish but the WiFi is good to make up for it. Staff are friendly and the pick up service from the airport was great & terrific value at 25AZN.
