    I booked 5 nights but chose to leave after the 2nd day and forfeit the rest of my payment because the condition and service were far below what I expect from a Marriott.*Main issues:*1. *Room condition*: Carpets, doors, and furniture looked very old and worn. The room felt dated and not well maintained for a 5-star property.2. *Food quality*: Breakfast and restaurant food was poor quality and tasted cheap. 3. *Coffee/Beverages*: No proper coffee or cappuccino available — surprising for a hotel at this level.4. *Service*: Overall service was below average and not up to Marriott standards.I would rather lose money on a non-refundable booking than stay here. I can’t recommend this hotel until major renovations and service improvements are made.     My favorite hOtel so far

    One of the best hotels we have stayed at so far, especially for the price. We stayed for three nights and had a very pleasant experience overall.Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a large, comfortable bed. There were only two small issues during our stay. First, the bathroom light would not turn off, but after we informed reception, they quickly sent someone to fix it. Second, the no-smoking metal sign on our door was bent, and it hurt my hand while opening the door. I hope the hotel repairs it for future guests.The breakfast variety was excellent, with both cold and hot beverages available. There was also a good selection of tea, including masala tea, as well as coffee. The gym was surprisingly large and very clean. We also really enjoyed the pool and spa facilities.Another nice detail was that the room floors were carpeted, which gave a soft and cozy feeling. The entrance floor was also very well organized and spotless. The staff in every department were friendly, kind, and welcoming.We truly liked everything about this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Baku.     Shocking Service Failures at a 5-Star Marriott — Completely Unworthy of the Brand

    We visited Marriott Boulevard Baku for my partner’s birthday, hoping for a smooth and pleasant 5-star experience. Instead, the service completely ruined the mood on what was supposed to be a special day. Although we had a confirmed reservation, we were repeatedly sent back and forth between the front desk, the SPA, and the restaurant because staff couldn’t agree on where the payment should be made. This level of disorganization is unacceptable for a hotel under the Marriott brand.Breakfast was the only part of the visit that felt truly enjoyable, thanks to the friendly staff and good food.Unfortunately, the SPA experience overshadowed this. The receptionist there was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional when answering simple questions. The towels and robes we received were torn, worn out, and uncomfortable. When we pointed out that, the woman reacted rudely and dismissively, saying that it was not her concern and that the items were sent to the laundry, leaving us feeling belittled and unwelcome. No replacements were offered.The SPA facilities themselves were mixed. The pool was very pleasant, with clean water and a comfortable temperature. The steam room was enjoyable, while the dry sauna was average. The changing rooms felt uncomfortably cold, and the overall SPA area, though clean, was noticeably cramped. The showers were acceptable but nothing special.Overall, this visit did not meet the standards expected from Marriott. It is disappointing that such basic service issues overshadowed what could have been a wonderful birthday experience. We truly hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves both staff professionalism and the quality of the SPA services.
