    Stayed in the hotel with my wife for 5 nights during our trip to Baku. All the staff in the hotel, reception, restaurant are extremely courteous and helpful. Hotel is great, perfect value for money. Rooms are clean and are regularly made up perfectly every day. Excellently located with lots of restaurants, cafes and parks at 5min walk.

    I was solo, so maybe that's why I didn't have a mini-bar or DVD player or even a working TV. Fortunately, I'm not too bothered by all that, and, what's more, they had a room ready for me when I arrived in the early morning. I liked the friendliness of the young staff who are always ready to help and speak a respectfully good English. It's also clean, which is a boon. Brekky is hit and miss. I missed more than I hit, but it's inluded in the price and will suffice for most budget travellers. It's cental, in the lap of Fountains Square and a stone's throw from the old town. The Caspian Sea is not even half a league away. They'll get you a taxi to the airport, but you can find cheaper or maybe take a Uber. Taxi-drivers work with scammers at the airport, who say they offer a service to the first security check two metres away from your landing site. Just say 'no' with enough gusto that you're understood. That said, you're never really hassled too much, even by the tour touts. To sum up, you could do worse by not staying at the Du Port. Give it a whirl.

    A family boutique hotel, quiet in a quiet location adjacent to Nizami Street, bustling with life and lively. Perfect location within walking distance to all the attractions, close to the old city, the promenade, etc. I stayed there for three enjoyable weeks. Amazing staff Turan, Ibrahim and the lovely Rashid, attentive to every request and help with everything needed with patience and kindness. The room is modest but has everything needed for a long and short stay Comfortable bed, hot water and strong current in the shower, electric kettle, refrigerator, TV, air conditioner, shower products. And very clean, with no aftertaste. The breakfast is modest, enough to start the day. The hotel has a good restaurant and excellent black beer. This is the hotel for me also for the next time when I arrive.

    The location of the hotel is really within walking distance, courteous, pleasant service, and accurate breakfast, I would recommend this trip only if you came to walk and tear the city, Bathroom was a decent size. The towels were clean and fresh . I did not see there was an elevator to the place. Comfortable room in the Soviet-style Pictures in the corridors really beautiful

    Stayed with family, room was clean and friendly staff. Always ready to help. We had a problem with credit cards and out of cash. They helped to send money from Russia, also finding apartment. Thank you very much for your help. Hotel was full of Russians , we felt like at home.
