I was pissed off as soon as I entered the 2 bedroom condo. It looked nothing like what they showed online. Old, ugly, damaged furniture, no luggage rack, no robes. Handles were broken off of several drawers. The beds were awful and housekeeping leaves towels in a giant laundry bag at your door for me to put away. I don't work here so what the hell??? The beach we couldn't use due to seaweed all along the beach they cleared a tiny path instead of removing all of it. IAnd bec of that the flies were terrible so eating outside was impossible. I left the do not disturb sign on my bedroom door and that was ignored. I couldn't find a diamond earring then I found it on the floor and 2 diamonds got knocked out of their prongs and I never found them. Such a disappointment glad to be home! Disappointing, lack of supplies with terrible food and facilities. SO happy we decided to stay at Grand Isle. The resort is beautiful! We booked a 2 bedroom ocean view thru Amex travel so we scored a room category upgrade to ocean front (villa 1414) and WOW!! We were blown away. Stunning accommodations and the view was amazing. We loved having several restaurants & bars on site, plus Salt restaurant is right around the corner. Every single member of the Grand Isle staff was friendly and always ready to make sure you were taken care of. Terrance at the beach bar was our favorite! Will definitely be back! Location was perfect, not too many people. Beach and water were absolutely beautiful. We came in our 20th wedding anniversary to get a couples message and it was amazing! I wanted a spa place, not one one that comes to your room or you have on the beach. Kevica and Shelly were incredible to say the least. They took great care of us and made us feel comfortable. Our messages were top notch. I couldn’t recommend the spa enough!
