    Worst Courtyard I’ve ever stayed on

    Yes the hotel is objectively worse than most courtyard you’ve ever stayed on. It is dated (it looks much older than it is), yes it’s next to a very busy industrial/loud lot/road. The food is subpar and priced at a premium but honestly all of it is a nonissue compared to the staff’s general lackadaisical attitude. There were too many mishaps during my one day stay to count (my party was given other people’s rooms 3 times!) and it became very clear that I was better off just going with it because the staff just does not care. The experience didn’t even leave me frustrated but rather worried.. is the staff ok? What is their work/life/compensation look like? Because they were clearly not happy.     Not a family vacation spot - especially if you have small children. The hotel is dated, the pool and pool area is not clean. United vacations charged us around $6,000 to stay here for the week when the actual bill was about $2400.00. Book Directly with the hotel. The noise from the street by the pool is LOUD. This hotel is in walking distance to most of the hot spots on the island. However, be careful trying to cross the street to the beach- tiny broken walkways with tons of traffic within a couple of feet from where you are walking. The food was decent, however it takes 30-45 minutes even if you just order nachos. The staff was very friendly.     My experience here was terrible! Initially, I was checked in under the wrong reservation. The following morning, I was attacked by housekeeping, getting hit in the head as I opened the door (with the “do not disturb” sign out), and the housekeeper appeared ready to fight. I spent every day at the front desk trying to resolve issues. Nothing was initiated until I reached the front desk on the morning of checkout. The woman, Kendrea (I think that’s how it’s spelled), was very rude and sarcastic. I told her I wanted issues addressed while I was there or I would contact customer service. She laughed and said okay. Now I understand why, as I received no assistance when I called. They referred everything back to them to make decisions they couldn’t make during my four-night stay. They still did nothing but offered a fake apology. I would never recommend this place.
