Location

The hotel is centrally-located, just steps away from the Predator Lagoon, Lagoon Pool and the casino. The Crystal Court shops and dining options at the Marina can be found nearby. The Straw Market, Fort Charlotte, the French Cloisters, shopping opportunities and museums can all be found just a short drive away. Nassau International Airport is some 15 km away.

Facility

656 rooms are located on 12 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Whether more active or in need of rest and relaxation, guests can unwind at the pool complex, which includes a children's area and a total of 11 swimming pools. Thrills on the waterslide, refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a soothing soak in the hot tub – the pool area has a little something for every state of mind and body. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, golf and fishing. With water skiing, jet skiing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, yoga and aerobics or, for a fee, callisthenics. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club, a casino and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Delicious specialities await guests in 18 non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurants. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Half board is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

    Stunning property ruined by a severe safety scare and slow staff response

    While the property itself is beautiful and amazing, our stay was overshadowed by overpriced food and a severe safety hazard. Around 8–9 PM, the heavy headboard broke off the wall and collapsed onto the bed. Had my kids been resting there, they would have suffered injuries.We notified the front desk immediately, but the response was entirely inefficient, taking over two hours to get us sorted. Handling this at bedtime was a nightmare, especially for my son who has autism and became very restless and upset by the disruption to his routine.Engineering eventually realized it couldn't be fixed on the spot, so we were moved. The hotel waived our room charges to apologize, but it only totaled $100, a completely inadequate gesture for a near-miss injury and a ruined night. What bothered us most was that no one from management ever came to speak with us. The lack of accountability and professional follow-up was incredibly disappointing.     Room with Water Coming out of AC Vent

    We were placed in a room where the AC vent had water leaking from it. I had to put cups on the floor and empty every hour. We were then moved the next day from a room with pool and ocean view to one with a view of a back of a building. It wasn't until the third day we were there when we were finally moved to another room with a view. We were given a $200 credit which did not make up at all for the disruption in our vacation.     Amazing property, clean pools, great staff, but disapointed in casual food options. Snorkling the lagoons was our favorite. Fine dining requires reservations in advance.     We had such a wonderful time in Atlantis!! May was a really great time to come - the weather was perfect, and the resort didn't ever feel crowded despite still feeling lively.
