Still a good hotel but not what it used to be!

I’ve been coming to Sarina Dhaka since 2009, and it continues to hold a very special place in my heart. Over the years, the hotel has consistently maintained its high standards while still feeling warm, welcoming, and familiar every time I return.This recent stay was no exception. I especially loved the buffet this time around — the variety, quality, and presentation of the food were all excellent. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into the dining experience, and it truly stood out during my visit.I also want to give special recognition to Irin from the F&B department. She was absolutely amazing — always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything I needed. Her service really elevated my experience, and she is a fantastic asset to the team.That said, there was one unfortunate moment during my stay — I got stuck in the lift on the 11th floor, which was quite stressful. While I understand that these things can occasionally happen, I do hope steps are taken to prevent similar situations in the future.Overall, despite that incident, my experience was once again very positive. The staff, especially Irin, ensured I felt well taken care of, and it’s exactly why I’ve been returning for so many years. I look forward to many more visits to Sarina Dhaka. Irin was always amazing and a great member of staff that was always willing to help in anyway possible, she is the best in the F&B department!
